Once the sun did shine apon the city. But that is times long since past. Most entirety of the city is far underneath the planets surface where it's rays never reached and even on the surface the sun's light has long been smothered by the smog of the industry below. Such came Apollo. The cities biggest star and shining media luminary with lights so bright they shone through the drapen darkened tunnels of the city.

And he claimed to bring the sun

Apollo and his theatrics brought him fame and fortune and a wide following as loyal as a cult. Bringing him his wealth to buy his immortality. "Such," he announced with ridiculous bravado "with me at your immortal forefront, the sun shall shine eternal in the city!"

Of course

It was all fake

There is no sunlight in the city, only the gleaming glory of a cocky bastard who made himself out to be it. But Apollo knew how to play the media like a wooden lyre painted gold. And with perfect steps and a smile that shines almost brighter than his setup, his influence quickly came to shine throughout the city like false sunlight. The false sun to shine eternal

Apollo was not alone in his endevors. Artemis, his twin sister, had her roles; If unseen. Ya see, Artemis had always been far less flashy than her brother. She did not enjoy being seen. So s he took center stage, and she strayed away from the spotlight. And as her brother became the light, she did her acts in darkness.

So sets the sun, rises the moon.

Working in much less public affairs, she started as a simple bounty hunter. Weilding a silver rifle. But she, too, quickly expanded in her influence. Stalking down the tunnels of the city wherever her brothers light dident reach silently taking out any who stepped out of line. They say while apollo owns the light of the city, she owns the dark.

She eventually made her own sort of entourage, though a much more exclusive sort then her twin's. A group of hunters hand-picked by Artemis to hunt by her side. Usually, younger girls chosen for unknown reasons to stalk the dark with the hunter. Few see artemis, the huntress shrouded in darkness, But word of her creeps through the city like shadows. Not even the olympians see her but rarely. The only few who truly face her being her hunters, her brother....

And those who find themself staring up the barrel of her silver rifle.
