im glad that minecraft is getting popular but…. im not really looking forward to when it dies out and becomes uncool once again because everyone realized that us autistic people really like the game and make up a huge portion of the players. 

the game became not cool to play because autistic people played it. now it’s cool to play because of a lot of non-autistic people are playing it again. 

autistic players will never get a spot light when it comes to minecraft because then it’s seen as cringey and weird. it will always be allistics who have popular minecraft lets plays, cool builds that go viral, minecraft tutorials, how to’s, ext ext… 

i’m not saying this out of “oh i liked minecraft before it was cool” because everyone should try the game out because its really good! but its NOT cool when autistic people are ignored, shunned, and made fun of in this fan base when we make up such a huge portion of it
