My beautiful princess
I'm... so confused?
What was the purpose of the scene about queer signals, if Will was never going to receive queer signals? Why was the question concerned with the obviousness of signals, and not the mere presence of them? Why use the term "shared looks" when that was a known call and response on set for Noah and Finn?
What was the meaning of the snowball and avalanche metaphor? Why include that scene at all? Where was the payoff?
You're going to write an entire meta scene on queer signals of attraction, include examples that we have already observed, indicate an eventual pay off... and not let it pay off? Why? To be malicious?
You tell the audience through Will that Mike was just his Tammy this entire time and expect us to believe it? Was Tammy in Robin's video tape? Did Robin know Tammy since she was five? Did Tammy run after her in the rain or recognize her breathing over the radio?
And Will Byers never got kissed. Will Byers witnessed queer love, queer joy, and queer intimacy through a kiss at the beginning of the season, wanting that for himself because he's a romantic... and never even got kissed. Not even by his epilogue boyfriend.
So, let me get this straight (pardon the expression):
Will was in love with Mike for a long time.
Will flirted with him, knowing he had a girlfriend.
Will got over him in a day after being mentally tortured.
Will called it a crush.
And their story ends by Mike basically going "sorry I was a bad friend."
None of Mike's behavior towards Will served any purpose other than to make Will think he had a shot, while constantly also reminding him that he didn't.
They really brought back one of the 3 poc characters to kill her off and left all of the other white characters alive
Mileven bones byler bones jancy bones stancy bones show bones everyone bones I'm mad as fuck
So no ones theories were right because literally nothing happens in the finale
Shocker of the century, the cut scenes are just In This Episode
Me: What is the current date and time?
The humble Bakugou Katsuki:
Stranger things twitter is starting to realize that maybe instead of a giant conspiracy about cut scenes, the stuff that doesn't make sense might just be explained in the last episode
god forgive me
I feel like jancys are just so unbelievably annoying that it's made me hate Johnathan at this point. You can ship them without hating on Steve for literally no reason and twisting every word he says to be some kind of diabolical evil. Like it's just really frustrating
we are now already in google doc conspiracy theory territory. these bitches really speed running this thing 😭
they are coping really well I feel 👍
I feel like this reply sums up how fandom largely treats women characters, specifically queer women, perfectly
Everyone is acting crazy about this, and it's part of why I'm so embarrassed to be a byler sometimes. This cut content shit has zero merit, you cannot completely change the story of something by cutting around in post production. Scripts changing is not something new and definitely not something unique to this chapter of stranger things. People acting like some evil act has been committed because things don't line up exactly with what they thought should happen is!!! Insane!!! And yes it's lowk lesbophobic to act like Netflix is telling them "no queer rep" when Robin has been in a lesbian relationship the whole season
The concept of saying "well that doesn't make sense, you wouldn't know" to an actor who has been there since season one and obviously read the fucking script after they come out and say the conspiracy isn't real is actually insane. They trust a random "reliable source" more than they trust MR CLARKE. Like what. Twitter is actually unusable right now
Haunted Hotel spoilers
Did Nathan kill himself knowing he would come back as a ghost????
please don't reblog this post a devilish temptress tricked me into making it and she placed a hex upon it so that every reblog removes a molecule from my body
Reblogging every year on my birthday to remove a molecule as a gift to myself
No but actually that Nathan reveal clarifies so many of his earlier behaviours and storylines because like,,
He may not remember killing himself but he must remember all the months of depression and suicidal ideation that preceded it.
Like?? Why would he care THAT much about the email his sister wrote to him when she thought he was dead as a therapy exercise? I get the curiosity but being so determined as to go behind her back about it and then get mad when it isn't what he hoped it was? But now I get it! He was still in the wrong for going behind her back ofc but like. He was desperate for some sort of positive affirmation that he was worth something to her while he was alive! And then it turns out she just wrote him things she was mad at him for and like yeah that would deflate the hell out of my ego too at that point! He already thought he was useless and then in his eyes his sister tells him he was useless in life too.
Also no wonder he was so susceptible to cults. They tell him he's good and right and helpful for something and he's immediately sold. His toxic positivity covers a very deep-seated belief that he's worthless if he can't find a way to help
The only thing that literally thethers him to the living world is a childhood memory of him and his sister throwing pasta at each other's faces. He has a laundry list and then some of unfinished business but the only thing he could think of that gives his existence meaning is the ritual surrounding a memory from before all his anxieties set in
Has anyone done this yet?
