It took me a while to process this news about a once well respected film producer Harvey Weinstein... I have never been so disgusted in my entire life.
As you already know, Since The New York Times published its first explosive report about Harvey Weinstein, a lot of high profile women such as Angelina Jolie to Rose McGowan to Cara Delevingne to Kate Beckinsale and many more, have come forward saying that they were also sexually assaulted by Weinstein.
Here is Caraâs Account:
After meeting with Weinstein and a director in a hotel lobby to discuss a movie role, âHarvey asked me to stay and chat with him,â Delevingne wrote in a statement shared on Twitter. âAs soon as we were alone he began to brag about all the actresses he had slept with and how he had made their careers and spoke about other inappropriate things of a sexual nature. He then invited me to his room. I quickly declined and asked his assistant if my car was outside. She said it wasnât and wouldnât be for a bit and I should go to his room. At that moment I felt very powerless and scared but didnât want to act that way hoping that I was wrong about the situation. When I arrived I was relieved to find another woman in his room and thought immediately I was safe. He asked us to kiss and she began some sort of advances upon his direction. I swiftly got up . . . I said again that I had to leave. He walked me to the door and stood in front of it and tried to kiss me on the lips. I stopped him and managed to get out of the room.â

Thanks to the bravery of these women, more and more brave women are coming out with their stories about Weinstein, I must say, I have never been more proud, more in awe of the support people and especially us women, are giving these women all over the world. The MeToo campaign all over social media is making people aware of the Weinstein Scandal and the fact that sexual abuse is completely UNACCEPTABLE.Â
My heart goes out to Rose McGowan, who tried to tell people what he Weinstein did to her....but no one listened. I canât imagine how low she felt, how lonely, how desperate she felt for someone to hear her. But we hear you Rose, We hear ALL of you!
Thank you for all of your bravery, all you women. May the world continue to bring this man down. I hope he rots in hell.
