When I was little my momâs meatloaf was my favorite food. But ONLY her meatloaf. I didnât like anyone elseâs, and she told me that she would teach me how to make it when I was older. And when I was like 19? She finally taught me, but she told me never to tell anyone else and I was like weird but okay
Anyway, she was super fucking homophobic and abusive to me when I told her I was gay, so hereâs the recipe
4-6 lbs of Hamburger/turkey burger
1 pk onion soup mix OR ranch mix
1 TBs ketchup
1 Tbs spicy brown mustard,
1 Tbs bbq sauce
1 Tbs steak sauce
1 egg
mix, shape into a loaf in a big pan, and bake at 350 for 2 hrs (maybe 2 and a half if youâre feeling dangerous)
You can get almost all of these ingredients at the dollar store, and have leftovers if itâs just you. The leftovers make great tacos if (taco seasoning is also like a dollar). Enjoy your revenge loaf
hereâs a mashed potato recipe from my homophobic mother that i swore to never share that would pair perfectly!
(6 servings)
-2lbs red potatoes
-1 cup butter (2 sticks)
-1 cup cream cheese (1 pack)
-Chives (optional)
-Salt & Pepper to taste
1. drop those bad boys (potatoes) in a big ol pot. U donât even have to chop them just wash them
2. boil til soft!
3. Drain
4. Mash (usually theyâre small enough you can use a fork if u donât have one of those squashers) until its a pretty chunky mix
5. add the other stuff. Keep mashing
I like my mashed potato consistancy more lumpy but its all up to you!! Peel the potatoes or keep them on, it literally makes the creamiest fluffiest mashed potatoes which she always served with the nastiest fuckin meatloaf
So after spending hours combing through the recipes in the comments of this post I have created a cookbook. Feel free to use it. The link should work for everyone, its the only file on the google drive! I have referenced all of the recipes I used, all of which are from this thread. I made it for myself, but figured after all that work I should probably share. Happy spite cooking!Â

there is a SPITE COOKBOOK now :DDD
Love the idea of this. Unfortunately, my dad was the cook in our family and he loved me regardless of my sexuality. Took him several months to help my mum get over herself.
It's my 14 year anniversary on Tumblr đ„ł
Apparently Tumblr does years in a similar fashion to hamsters. One year is equal to two? Or am I missing something. I only discovered tumblr 6 years ago...
Reblog if youâre 30 or older
This is an experiment to see if there really are as few of us as people think. You can also use this to freak out your followers who think youâre 25 or something. Yay!
In case my graying hair, jowls, and chin waddle didnât clue you inâŠ.
Getting grey is good. It's fun to mix it up.

Imagine 'Broadchurch' crossed with 'Letterkenny', but with way more lesbians.
One of the funniest shows I've seen. If you want to see tropes being turned on their head, which I do love, then please give this a crack.
âIâm fairly certain that golf is supposed to be quiet,â Kara whispers to Lena. Lena smiles and shakes her head as she responds to Kara. âMaybe it is, but I think I prefer this.â - donât go slow âcause youâre gonna be someone by @i-am-robie
What I'm reading right now instead of writing. Absolutely glorious!

Hey, sorry to bother you, I've read the 32nd chapter of Dr on the Ground, I'm very scared for these two, I have deep anxiety. This story is super awesome, I experienced incredible emotions with each chapter, it's very cool, I can't describe it in words. I would like to know the writing of chapter 33 in the process and when it will be released? P.S. My English is not very good, I apologize if I expressed myself incorrectly somewhere. And Happy New Year!!!! I hope you are doing well.
Thanks đ
Hey and happy new year to you too. Thank you for your lovely words about the fic. I have started writing again after a long period of time. My father got sick and my sisters and I nursed him at home. It's taken a long time to recover from his passing. I am finding the joy in writing again and hope to post the last chapter soon. Take care of yourself and thank you so much for taking the time to write to me.

The idea of free energy isn't science fiction. It could have been real from the time of Nicola Tesla. This is an interesting talk about why we don't have free energy.
August 21st is Fanfic Writer Appreciation Day đ
Letâs be honest - we all forget to leave a comment sometimes. We donât always go out of our way to click the âcome talk to me on tumblrâ link on AO3 to scream about the fic in the authorâs inbox. On August 21st I encourage you to take a moment and show fanfic writers that you appreciate them!
How can you do it?
leave a comment and kudos on every fic you finish reading. Doesnât matter how short. Doesnât matter if youâre just repeating what other people have already said. Just be kind! Keysmashing, Caps Lock, and live commenting appreciated! (Bonus points if you leave a comment on every chapter)
ideas for what to put in a comment: one | two | three | four
floaty review box for ao3 (super useful for commenting as you read + it has a âreview tipsâ button if you feel stuck)
reblog ficlets, drabbles, fics, fic rec posts, etc. Put a nice comment in the tags. Remember that likes, while appreciated, donât give the writer any exposure, meaning the posts donât reach more people
go to your local fanfic writerâs inbox and talk to them about their fic of your choice. Let them know how long ago youâve read it and what story point/sentence/scene still makes you smile when you think about it
send thank you messages to fic writers. In a world where you have to pay for almost everything, theyâre supplying you with countless hours of free entertainment. It can get quite lonely without getting messages acknowledging the hours they spend writing stories - let them know their time and effort is appreciated
make fic rec posts and @ the authors whose fics youâre recommending! (believe me, fic writers love to see their stories in these posts)
create something inspired by a fic! You can draw fanart, make a moodboard or aesthetic post, or even write a song for the fic you love. Whether youâre a beginner or a pro doesnât matter - the thought alone is what counts more than anything <3
buy the writer a coffee if they have a ko-fi page and you have some change lying around c: Caffeine keeps most fic writers awake when they struggle with a particularly slow draft or a difficult scene. More coffee, more content.
These are only some ideas out of the sea of possible ways to appreciate fanfic writers. On August 21st show the writers in your fandom(s) some love <3
And if youâre a writerâŠ
remember to celebrate your own works as well!
reblog those fics of yours. Heck yeah, let people see them again! Sometimes a fic gets buried under all the new content real fast and you might feel too guilty or shy to self-reblog it again. Iâm telling you now: do it <3
talk about the favourite fics youâve written. What inspired you? What were you trying to convey? Think a DVD commentary of your own fic (see fic example here. More examples here and here.)
reblog fic-related question games and encourage your followers/readers to participate! Here are some that Iâve found: one | two | three
most importantly, take some time to appreciate how far youâve come as a writer. Go through your stories, the old and the new. Rediscover the things you enjoy in them, notice the strength and flow and beauty in your words. You did that, you smart cookie, you; donât hesitate to feel proud c:
See you on August 21st!
have you ever stayed up late with someone texting or chatting and known as the hours ticked by that youâd be ridiculously tired in the morning but it didnt matter because it was really fun and totally worth losing sleep over just to laugh with someone and enjoy their company maybe and then the next day you keep tiredly recalling how much fun it was
