I just love portrayal of Janine and Gregory's relationship. Gregory taking up a second job because his priorities have changed and he wants to take better care of everything is him being a responsible man who genuinely values his relationship and wants to give his best to Janine...

Like in yesterday's episode Janine understands Gregory and values his hardwork to make extra money even though she looked forward to their duet in the karaoke. She assures him that she'll be okay. Both hold no resentment towards each other. They don't talk of feeling left alone because of his second job or question each other's worth at that moment. They just come to an understanding and do their life still holding love for each other even though there is sadness that they couldn't be together at that moment. I like how they balanced that feeling without putting out anything negative or ill feelings. I love the way they both have got one another.

The way Gregory comes through everytime(like a lover should) in understanding and showing up for Janine, learning to be better and participating in things that are important for her while she does the same for him(like logging the karoke events) is wonderful to see on screen. Like he realises what is important for him which is to make Janine happy by spending the night with her and he just gives into it again without making a big fuss about it or without any drama.. They are figuring out stuff and they want to be gentle and simple with each other....I am happy that the writers have chosen to show them this way and that there is no bullshitting or pretension or cynicism that dilutes their story. I feel like it's really important to see love like that especially when role models for love and relationship were kinda bad around you growing up.
