TLT musical really popped off with the Good Kid reprise. It gives such meaning to both Percy and Luke, and if you examine each song in the context of the series as a whole it really means a lot.
Both numbers begin with the character ranting about their struggles. Percy then gos on about how he doesn’t mean for any of these things to happen, he wants to be a good kid. Luke takes a different direction. He’s given up on trying to be a good kid, he means all the harm he’s done. And sure, it’s because of the gods and the horrible things they do, but it’s also because he chose to be selfish and let his anger consume him. Luke knows that his friends, his siblings, Annabeth, will be hurt by what he’s doing. This is not some unexpected consequence. In the Good Kid reprise, we see Luke choose to become the villain.
Percy, even after HOO, would never do that because it’s not who he is. The message of Good Kid applies to his entire life. Even if by the time he’s 17 he doesn’t care about getting expelled anymore, he still wants to be a good person in other ways. He wants to be someone Annabeth can spend her life with. He wants to be someone who his friends know they can trust. It’s a fundamental part of him that probably came from Sally. While it wasn’t entirely May’s fault, she didn’t instill in Luke the same sense of duty. Sally showed Percy the importance of being loving and loyal, and he carries that with him.
The Di Angelo siblings 💀
Drew these at the end of last year but I think they’re still quite cute :)
If it’s true what they say If my love is gone for good They can take this heart away They can take this flesh and blood Take my mouth that kissed her mouth Take my tongue that sung her praise Take my arms that used to reach out In the dark to where she lay

who needs therapy when you can just reenact my grand plan from tlt musical in your bedroom
ohh things couldn't be worse when your parents run the universe 🎶
thalia has more main character energy than percy in his own series send tweet
like in any other series thalia, luke, and annabeth would have been the main characters but it’s literally because pjo is all about subverting that dynamic of heroism like these are such obvious protagonists with the hubris and the but unlike a lot of other tween fantasy books percy is actually an underdog he actually is the guy you wouldn’t expect not only bc like poseidon is secondary to zeus but also bc of his disconnection from mythology through to the end and his entire attitude towards heroism bc that’s the whole fucking point-
hey pink piper !! you’re looking pretty gay today <3
the amount of work i put into this just for it to turn out this bad is criminal
hoo would have been So much more fun if the seven just. hated each other.
hazel: i just feel like everyone keeps taking me for granted even though like! i’m a big three child too come on
frank, who just spent four hours complaining to dakota on IM that he keeps getting stuck with this 13 year old Child just bc they’re both roman: mmhm
jason: isn’t it ridiculous how everyone keeps deferring to percy? i’m the only member of this quest who has been formally elected leader, and i heard that he didn’t even kill kronos himself i mean
annabeth, wanting to slap a bitch but not because he’s about to listen to her complain to him about how most of the people on this trip have barely been on one(1) quest before: …yeah
nike tells them that they have to fight to the death and percy, leo, hazel and frank are like Aight who wants to go first
mods are asleep post your weirdly specific pjo memes
