how i think the seven+ would react to the cicadacalypse (cicada apocalypse) because it’s happening in like two weeks and i’m scared

annabeth- she’d get grossed out by them but would collect their shells and study them

percy- king of sticking all the dead shells on other people. once got 21 on mr. d before he noticed

jason- hates the noise but is gladly roped in to using his wind shifting powers to create hoards of cicada attack squads that he pushes through the air

leo- ropes jason into the cicada attack hoards. also builds a ton of paper airplanes to stick them on for these hoards

piper- finds them cool but is slightly sad that she can’t lean against the trees at the skate park to admire shel anymore because they’re covered in cicadas

frank- vibes as a cicada. basically a vacation for him because there’s no hope anyone could figure out which one he is

hazel- confused af but also just vibing through the experience and lowkey loving the noise they produce and says it makes her more productive

nico- tries and fails at reanimating the cicada shells. very saddened by this fact but enjoys how if he hangs out with the cicadas less people will approach him

reyna- hates the noise. who tf gave them the right to be that loud. that being said, they do quiet down around her. hard to tell if this is a bellona affect or just reyna

Will- hates it. despises it. why is this his existence. what good is a bf who exudes death when he doesn’t condone killing them. once percy tried to put a cicada shell on him and Will broke his arm

rachel- wears a cicada shell dress
