an open letter to the bitch that hijacked my roleplay and then deleted it when she was called out for her shitty behavior:

so, i thought i’d have something long to say to you, but i don’t. i’m not going to waste the time. but here are three things i feel need to be said. 1, you had no right to delete spelled. you didn’t put a damn bit of work into that rp, whereas i spend HOURS setting the theme and coding it and writing the pages. it was not yours to delete, and you should have come to me first, whether i was still in it or not, it. was. not. yours. 2, from the begining i had a bad feeling about you, and i should have listened to my gut. you were at the source of every major problem the rp faced, and honestly are why i left instead of trying to balance it and school. and 3, please never join another roleplay of mine again, you will never be welcome.

i admit, i wasn’t perfect, and i had my faults with spelledhqs, it was a learning experience, but folks, when you have a gut feeling LISTEN 👏 TO 👏 IT 👏i want to apologize to everyone hurt by spelledhqs, i know i played a part, and in no way am i excusing that, but the biggest mistake i made was trusting ally, who has blocked me on discord so i can’t send her this message myself.

this is in response to this post here. which happened after i left the rp, but wouldn’t have happened if i had just closed the roleplay instead of trusting a toxic person i fooled myself into thinking was okay. she was manipulative from the start folks, and i let myself think i was being a paranoid bitch and i was not.

Molly and I definitely had our differences, but I appreciate this a lot. Despite the issues I had personally with Molly, even I will admit that Ally played a part in manipulating us both behind the scenes, and making the situation even worse. Seriously everyone, be WARNED. Not only does Ally steal characters (honestly, I have even more receipts to show her “reply” to the call-out post my friend wrote was absolute bullshit), she tries to turn you against everyone, manipulates every situation to make herself look like the victim, and then tries to isolate you so you can’t confront issues head on.

Molly, I’m sorry Ally deleted spelled rather than admit she was wrong and deal with the consequences. You didn’t deserve that. I know you put a lot of work into the group, and to just have it deleted like that sucks.

Ally, if you see this, I sincerely hope you take a look at your actions and the way you treat people. It’s outrageous.

Especially in this castle.” A mistake probably, but she carried on all the same. “Am I supposed to hate you for all of this? Resent you? I haven’t really decided how I feel about it, if i’m being honest. It all just…really sucks.”

“I don’t think you’re the idiot in all of this,” Damien shrugged, telling the truth for once. He took a sip of tea and winced at the taste. Why did people drink this stuff? Setting down the mug, he braced his hands on the counter and stared at Rosie hard. He was good at reading people, at getting to know their real thoughts and desires. As he sized her up, he realized she was telling the truth. It was a bit foolish of her, really, but telling her that wouldn’t do either of them any good. “It’s not just the stuff with Viola. Who I am, where I come from, what I can do...those aren’t things people are usually comfortable with. I do my best to help people who are in need, but some people don’t see...anything about me, in that kind of helpful light.”

“Yes, yes, I’m very generous,” Damien waved away her sarcasm. He didn’t care for it, especially when he was trying to keep her from any sort of punishment that might come from even attempting to mess with the barrier. “I guess that depends. What sort of payment do you want? Spending time with me is an obvious treat, but if you want a little something extra in return, I could arrange it.”

Viola said nothing in response, she didn’t have it in her for another screaming match with him, not today. Not after starting the morning with a monster hangover and then getting into it with her brother, over him. “Except I never accused you of doing any of this, just of knowing something. And your reaction proved me right.” That bit of clarity had come to her after, much much after she’d finished despairing over the hurt it had all caused her. They had ended things, it was over. It was nerve wreaking for her to feel this way. For Viola who had the gift of goodbye and could end things with anyone be it a friend, an ex, or a past hook up she was done with, without so much as a backward glance.

“It didn’t prove anything. Do you even know what the definition of proof is? God, I can’t believe I was fooling around with someone this dense.” He kicked at a bunch of rocks, watching them sky rocket away. It didn’t bring him any satisfaction, though. Now, his foot hurt. “You jumping to conclusions and overreacting when you have absolutely nothing to go off just gives credence to my theory. You wanted an out from whatever was going on between us. It’s easier for you to blame me and walk away than it is for you just admit you got tired of fooling around with me.”

“I know, right? It’s like they’ve never been through a disaster before.” Damien rolled his eyes, stirring sugar into his morning coffee. “I’m not sure what they expect to happen. It’s not like things are going to get better. If they think this is bad, just wait until something else happens. We’re stuck here. Whoever did this has us at their mercy.”

all ruby was trying to do was help. being in the kitchens all the time she figured she could be the most help there and after the earthquake she certainly thought taking up all the dishes she could salvage would be the most help but it all went south when she over did herself and tried to carry a platter stacked high of glass plates and cups only to find herself unable to carry everything and with a huge crash the blonde had dropped every single dish surrounding her with broken glass. “no!” she chirped before bending down to clean up her mess with tears in her eyes. “i promise i didn’t mean it! I was just trying to help!” she said thinking the figure who had come into the room was none other than that grumpy old chef who only seemed to thing ruby got in the way when she tried to bake in the kitchen.

Damien walked into the room right as the plates his the floor. He cringed and tried to decide whether or not he could get away with just slipping out of the room. There were plenty of people in the castle who would assume he had done it on purpose if they walked in and saw the plates in a shamble on the floor. “I wouldn’t worry about it,” Damien said, finally deciding to come into the room entirely. “I’m sure there are plenty more. Let me help you clean up.”

It was bad enough being forced to make small talk with what felt like every important person in the world, but now they were all on clean up duty as well. It was the right thing to do, Rafe supposed, when some fairy bullshit wrecks someone’s home. But maybe they should have thought about that when they threw this party, had no one learned from Aurora and Maleficent? When immortal beings are involved, any slightest thing can be an insult. Especially a party invite, or lack thereof.

Rafe had volunteered to clean up the bar on the main floor. It was the only option where he could get something out of helping out, so he jumped on it. A lot of the bottles had been smashed with the “earthquake” but a few were salvageable. He bent to pick up an intact glass decanter filled with amber liquid. A quick sniff told him it was whiskey, so he turned the stopper and took a long swig directly from the bottle. He used a foot to begin halfheartedly pushing all the glass pieces into a pile when the sound of footsteps came from behind him.

“You better plan on sharing that,” Damien said as he approached, a broom and dust pan in hands. He could have used magic to make the whole clean up process go a lot quicker, but he was still trying to stay somewhat low key. “The only cure to a hangover is more alcohol, and I sure as hell have one after last night.” He’d never met Rafe before the party, but after the whole wax incident, Damien had some respect for the other man.

Sitting on the sand with her legs tucked up under the oversized sweater she wore, the dark haired girls stared out at the quiet sea, wishing she could swim and keep swimming until she was somewhere far away. Hearing the very familiar voice come up behind her she put her down for a moment, cursing her luck for what felt like the umpteenth time this past month. “I recall someone asking to stay away, yet you turn up at my party.” She said shaking her head not yet turning to look at him. “I knew you were an ass but that dare was low.”

“I had a friend or two in attendance. Don’t I deserve to let loose?” Damien shot back, not amused by her throwing his words back in his face. He had wanted her to stay away in the moment, but it was much harder than he thought to stay away from her. “Oh? Was it? Lower than accusing me of having something to do with the latest disaster? I think the kiss was nothing compared to that.”
