Throwing Frisbees for a Cause

UNH Manchester and the Ultimate Frisbee Club kicked off the month of August with a charity tournament. Five teams, ten games and one championship, the players were ready to break a sweat and throw some Frisbees for Liberty House: A Veteran's Transitional House.

When Lauren Simmons started out at UNH Manchester, she had a plan. She was going to graduate with a pharmacy degree, go work in a pharmacy, live happily ever after. Then, she worked in a pharmacy and realized pretty quickly, it just wasn’t for her. She switched her major to Biological Sciences, but that clear path from before suddenly seemed less clear. And faced with the prospect of having to choose an internship, it got downright murky.
