in which martin reveals that you’re his celebrity crush during an interview

martin didn’t think twice before answering honestly.

“i’ve been a fan of her band for a while, i think they’ve definitely inspired me a lot. and, i mean, she’s beautiful.”

he anticipated angry, parasocial cortis fans mixed with supportive fans of your band and everything in between.

what he didn’t expect, was to go on twitter and see you had done an interview responding to him.

finding out that you are a fan of his music, and that you weren’t horrified by his crush, blocked out any worry he was feeling about facing the reactions of certain fans.

quickly this worry was replaced by annoyance as his members began teasing him, egging him on and encouraging him to “make a move.”

at first, he took it as it was, teasing. however, as the day wore on, the idea that he could have a chance weighed heavy in his mind.

was it possible?

well, you miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t shoot…

he dm’d you.

he didn’t know what possessed him to be so bold.

reaching out first, using his private account, being very blatant about his intentions.
