I have not said anyone is wrong for making these statements; all I’ve done is say it’s more difficult to believe them without any evidence provided. these are very serious accusations being made! it would be one thing if this were “we’ve cut ties with avid and marm,” but this is “avid and marm are dangerous manipulative abusive narcissists,” and those are not claims I take lightly! those are claims that require evidence for me to believe them lmao. I don’t doubt that the sbk members were hurt, but being hurt is not the same thing as being manipulated and abused. if avid had accused a specific person of something specific, I would also want to see some actual evidence to support that claim. I’m not the kind of person who’s going to just automatically believe whoever releases the most recent twitter statement about a situation.

you don’t have to reply to this honestly, i just wanted to say i think a lot of people are not affording avid the benefit of the doubt. you CAN feel violated and not express this fully which can even mean that the violator is not necessarily “in the wrong” since it was never expressed. the violator can be a good person who would never purposefully harm you. the violated can start reading into all their actions as negative despite that not being the true intention. and you CAN say nasty things as a result of this which makes you look insane.
I do not believe most people are approaching this situation with very much compassion, consideration, or critical thinking, no.
