Metal Family Redemption comic spoilers

Do not read unless you've read the last comic!!!

Ok so I've recently purchased the "Redemption" comic and it left me with A LOT of questions especially about Lif–

On one of the last pages she asks Dee whether he went to the Black House as per the message SOMEONE sent him anonymously. And it bothers me to no end because it means only one thing - she is somehow connected to the maniac and/or the disappearing kids in the city. Lif has no way of knowing what messages Dee gets unless she sent it or she knows someone who sent it. AND IT'S NOT GOOD AT ALL.

Because I genuinely do not want her to be the maniac or be an accomplice in those crimes but now EVERYTHING points to it being the truth.

UNLESS we have an unreliable narrator situation in which everything that happend in that comic should be perceived with a grain of salt. But that doesn't seem likely because it's just a comic which is canon and connected to the main plot but it's a small story not worth an episode soooo?????

What are your thoughts guys because I haven't seen ANYBODY talking about it and I'm really bothered by that panel.
