Any thoughts on Prince Wu x Mako?

I have to say, I don’t understand the appeal of it.  It’s obvious Mako hates his job and he hates following Prince Wu around. It’s probably as stupid as Korr/asami, only it has more development, because we actually see Mako and Wu talking to each other on a personal level and it’s both of them helping each other rather than just one of them doing everything for the other.
