Some ideas I had for the partners:

Coulson & Gargomon:

Unlike Henry's (Digimon Tamers) Terriermon/Gargomon, Coulson's Gargomon is a tactician. He and Phil talk over plans constantly.

May & Turuiemon:

I haven't thought as much about these two yet but I can totally see them training together.

Fitz & Hagurumon/Kokuwamon:

As I said earlier, I might be swapping Hagurumon with Kokuwamon but either way, they help Fitz build things constantly. I picture them with the voice of Izzy's (Digimon Adventure) Tentomon in the English dub and you'll hear things like "I calculate your additions to the ICER will make them 60% more efficient for the other agents" come from the lab.

Jemma & Labramon:

Labramon is constantly helping Jemma in the lab. When the series gets closer to FitzSimmons being canon, Labramon becomes Fitz's wingwoman as well ❤️

Personally for Ward I think using Gammamon would be quite fitting since that a Digimon multiple evo's each with a different personalities just like how there so many "faces" to Ward. Include one he had to hide from everyone for so long.

You know? I can see that. And then GulusGammamon is the true evolution line, unlike Hiro's Gammamon that went Betel/Wezen/KausGammamon to Canoweissmon.

Honestly, most of this is just me having fun but I'm thinking of writing oneshots in this universe once I nail down everyone. I've already swapped Hagurumon with Kokuwamon for Fitz 🤣

How you can tell Shark's favorite character: all his AUs revolve around that one character.

In Danny Phantom I made second gen OCs because my favorite character was Danny. In Soul Eater, same thing with Stein.

In Agents of SHIELD, it hasn't been second gen AUs but I've got a poly AU, one second gen AU, and a few AUs of Fitz having a sibling. Because Fitz is my favorite character so everything I think of has to involve him.

So like, I'm thinking about one of my OCs and realized I could do something really funny.

So I've got a young OC, she's about two when introduced into the Agents of SHIELD plot. She ends up adopted by FitzSimmons, it's all very cute. I was looking into how children develop accents and apparently it's all done before age 7, based on who they're around (usually peers).

Imagine this little girl, very clearly looks Mediterranean (she's from Minoan Crete). And she comes up to you with the most bland American accent until she gets going, and then you hear the Scottish and British slang. Bc most of the Playground speaks a more American English, I think she'd end up with an accent like that, but boy howdy does she pick up slang from her parents instead.
