it's 11 p.m., the air is cold outside, and you still have several blocks left before reaching your shared apartment. all because you were completely absorbed in your homework until you forgot about the time. you decided to go to the library to complete your assignments and break from your comfort zone. now, this is where you stand.

on top of that, your phone battery has completely drained, and as such, you cannot notify your boyfriend about your late arrival. you are fully aware of the fact that leehan is extremely concerned about you, and hence the thought of him lecturing you when you arrive has left you feeling anxious

you enter the passcode and immediately open the door. leehan is leaning his body against the wall, with his hands folded in front of his chest. his facial expression is enraged and angry. "where were you?" he snaps, "you didn't answer my call, nor did you reply to my messages."

"i... i only went to the library," you stammer uncertainly, as your tone of voice carries a noticeable hint of anxiousness. you stand there, not quite knowing how to proceed as you feel intimidated by leehan's furious expression.

“and why didn’t you answered my call?” he move and walked closer towards you.

“my phone died..” i looked down as his face was right in front of you.

“hey, look at me.” he put his index finger on your chin to lift your head up, making eye contact with him. “don’t you know how worried i am?” you nod as a reply, hearing a sigh left his body.

“i’m glad you’re okay.. but please, if you know you’re phone is dying, please notify me before your phone died, alright?” his facial becomes more relaxed and his eyes switch to worries and care.

“alright, understood.” you nod, finally relaxing as soon as you see his worried face.
