• Bi men exist and also face homophobia & biphobia.
• Bi women in an m/f relationship and/or have never had an f/f are still allowed to discuss being bisexual.
• Bi people do not have to be publicly out to be bi.
• a Bi partner not telling you they’re Bi at first does not mean they have some ulterior motive and are gonna cheat on you. No one owes it to you to come out.
• Bi people do not owe you a detailed account of their dating history.
• Bi people who’ve been with a gender you’re not attracted to are not going to somehow make you less gay or straight.
• Bi people experience homophobia.
• Homophobic statements made towards/around them don’t magically become un-hurtful even when they’re in a m/f (or perceived m/f) relationship.
• Homophobic hate crimes committed on Bi people don’t magically become non-hate crimes when the person is bi.
