My sister used to be a feminist and a supporter of LGBT people.

She then became one of those "moderate" anti-LGBT people. She still "supported" LGBT people as long as they stayed away from children. She insisted that she couldn't be a bigot because she's bisexual.

She's now so obsessed with religion that she thinks Halloween is a sin. She now fully believes that being LGBT is always a sin. She "repented" for her bisexuality.

I have a theory about how someone could change this much. At first, her beliefs seemed like regurgitated Trump propaganda, which included pretending that LGBT people are pedophiles. This could happen if someone is exposed to Trump propaganda and not exposed to anything refuting it. This likely came from her current boyfriend. She lives with him and rarely interacts with anyone else, so he has a lot of influence over her. He likely pretended to be supportive of LGBT people at first in order to win her over then slowly exposed her to Trump propaganda. But the beliefs like "Halloween is a sin" are not typical Trump propaganda, so that isn't very likely to come from her boyfriend. This is more likely to come from an online cult.

An online cult alone isn't very likely to turn someone from a LGBT supporter to obsessively anti-LGBT, because a LGBT supporter would most likely reject an anti-LGBT cult. So my guess is that she started off being manipulated by her boyfriend into typical Trumpish bigotry, then went online to find supporters of her new beliefs and found a cult, then became obsessively calling everything that's fun a sin.

i usually dont make posts like this but needless to say, im down around half the money i need to help pay off the bills/rent for the end of this month and ive also been given an ultimatum by my bio mom that if I'll be kicked out. my next paycheck doesnt get deposited until the 4th of next month which will be used for paying my root canal treatment and i do not have the money to consider living separate from our bio mom and extended family either short or longterm. i don't expect much if anything, but thank you for your time and for reading.

hi :3 im a multiply disabled 20 y/o trans girl. im moderate autistic and chronically suicidal- due to conditions out of my control. i had to drop out of high school, and in my country that makes jobs way less available- im lucky enough to work fulltime but it pays very little.

im going to get my adult leavers cert, but that requires time taken off work i cant really afford to take :/

theres a huge variety of things that would make life less painful rn- disability supports, furniture more suited to my chronic pain, etc

i know its a lot to ask, but i really need help making things less Actively Hostile to me- hopefully this is the last time i have to ask for help! things are looking up once i can afford to take the adult diploma!

i need about 1500 USD to make things actually livable. this will go towards things like medical care and accommodations and helping with things while i get the adult matric.

For all those wondering why the title doesn't say this, it's because the study doesn't say this either.

While the cause of the injuries may be obvious, it's not technically known, and science speaks for what is known.

Some (a minority) of the trans women injured reported that it was violence, and some (a smaller minority) reported that it was intimate partner violence, but most did not report anything and the stats are just from the fact that they needed treatment and so went through the radiology department with their injuries.

i use pseudoscience to help me manage my health. 8 glasses of water a day is pseudoscience, but it helps me drink water. 15 minutes of sun for vitamin d absorption is probably pseudoscience, but it helps me go outside. 10000 steps is pseudoscience. each gives me a goal to work towards and helps me manage my health a lot better than if i just left it
