hey so to clarify for this because it got some attention, I'm a creative writing student. I implement a lot of references and inspirations in my writing (they can get as specific as the wallpaper being yellow in reference to the yellow wallpaper, or have a news broadcast allude to a very specific real news anchor), and my dissertation was the first 12,000 words of a novel I'm writing. Loner Dog, XxU and Dog Daze are all cited as inspirations, loner dog inspiring one scene directly. If people are interested to see my work I'm willing to share it via DMs. I even have a version with all the citations if anyone's curious
