Where  he  came  from,  his  people  would  compare  his  aim  to  a  clanker.  Anakin's  eyes  trailed  to  Bucky.  "You're  excused,"  he  said  with  a  smirk  appearing  on  his  face.  "My  men  had  better  when  they  took  a  piss."  His  mouth  twisted  in  thought.  Honestly,  he  grew  tired  of  waiting  while  his  new  supposed  friend  tried  to  hit  the  target.  Glancing  down  to  the  ground  from  the  rooftop  above,  he  saw  his  target.  It  was  directly  below  them.  "I'm  tired  of  this."  Standing,  he  shrugged  off  his  cloak  and  called  his  saber  in  his  hand.  "If  you  will  excuse  me."  Without  another  thought,  Anakin  backed  up  and  went  running  off  the  edge  while  igniting  his  saber.

Anakin's  brows  furrowed.  He  didn't  think  he  was  that  predictable.  Well,  maybe  to  certain  people  he  was  to  a  degree.  Obi  Wan  in  particular.  "If  the  masters  catch  you  up  here.  It'd  be  more  than  a  lecture,"  he  said  as  he  crouched  carefully.  "But  I  admire  your  defiance."  Plopping  down  beside  her,  he  looked  forward.  From  up  there,  everything  looked  so  small.  Speeders  looked  more  like  ants  scattering  around  looking  for  food.  His  troubles  didn't  seem  as  big  anymore. "How  are  you  adjusting?"  Anakin  remembered  what  it  felt  like  to  be  an  outsider.  His  peers  had  turned  their  noses  up  towards  him.  Dumb  slave  was  muttered  more  than  once.  And  his  anger  often  took  hold.  He  sent  them  running  more  than  once.  But  that  was  a  long  time  ago.  Anakin  had  since  grown  into  a  hero.  Someone  the  Republic  put  on  a  pedestal.  I  want  someone  to  see  me.  The  real  me.  Just  once.  Maybe  then,  he  would  feel  some  form  of  comfort.  Instead  of  having  to  outdo  everyone  else,  "When  I  first  came  to  the  temple,  I  was  nine.  We're  not  that  different."

His  palm  was  stretched  out  curiously  as  the  small  dragon  pushed  her  snout  against  it.  I  have  a  dragon.  A  real  dragon.  Did  this  mean  he  was  a  Targaryen  after  all?  All  those  years  of  torment  not  for  nothing?  No  doubt  others  would  have  questions.  Anakin  wasn't  about  to  indulge  them.  It  was  better  to  keep  silent  rather  than  to  stir  the  pot.  Yet.  As  soon  as  she  was  able  enough  to  carry  him,  he  would  show  all  those  damned  fools. And  his  mother's  claim  to  the  name  would  no  longer  be  questioned.  Everyone  since  he  was  a  child  spoke  in  whispers.  He  was  cursed  by  the  gods.  A  bastard's  child.  Maybe  he  was  their  savior?  None  of  it  mattered!  The  gods  gave  him  a  dragon! His  heartbeat  thudded  loudly  in  his  ears  as  he  put  his  palm  down.  His  room  was  smaller  than  he  liked.  And  because  of  it,  he  wouldn't  be  able  to  hide  her  long.  But  he  would  try  for  as  long  as  he  could.  Because  she  was  his.  Mine.  Climbing  to  his  feet,  he  snatched  some  of  the  chicken  from  his  plate.  He  inched  his  way  to  where  she  claimed  her  perch.  "Kisās,"  he  commanded  as  he  offered  the  meat.

The  willingness  to  stay  with  a  family  that  would  rather  kill  her  made  his  brows  crease  in  concern.  "I  can  not  tell  you  what  to  do.  You  are  the  Queen.  What  I  can  say  is:  What  does  your  heart  tell  you?"  It  could  be  as  simple  as  that.  Anakin's  heart  told  him  to  leave  this  blasted  place.  Everything  was  going  to  hell,  and  he'd  be  damned  if  he  was  dragged  down  in  the  process. Anakin  stopped  in  his  tracks  as  his  eyes  went  back  to  her  slowly.  "I'm  not  bored  of  you.  I  just  have  a  lot  on  my  mind."  In  truth,  he  had  been  so  preoccupied  that  he  didn't  see  Helaena's  suffering.  Frowning,  he  turned  towards  her.  "I  never  once  thought  you  didn't.  It's  just..."  Sighing,  he  shifted  on  his  feet  uncomfortably.  "I've  learned  that  trusting  people  leads  them  to  death.  Getting  attached  to  anyone,  you'll  end  up  with  your  head  on  a  pike.  Heed  my  words,  my  queen.  Trust  no  one.  It's  better  to  be  alone  than  to  have  a  knife  put  in  your  back."

Lilac  eyes  stared  at  the  queen,  his  queen.  In  Anakin's  mind,  she  was  as  worthy  as  any  man  who  sat  on  the  Iron  Throne  before.  It  was  why  he  pledged  himself  without  a  single  thought.  Why  he  left  King's  Landing  amid  his  father  having  him  stripped  of  his  titles  and  knighthood.  And  why  he  burnt  anything  in  his  path  all  out  of  anger.  Loyalty.  It  was  plain  and  simple.  She  was  the  rightful  heir.  Not  the  fucking  usurper. Anakin's  violet  eyes  tore  themselves  away  from  his  queen  to  look  at  the  raging  ocean.  Its  wraith  could  be  felt  in  every  corner  of  the  known  world.  And  so  was  his.  His  blood  boiled  with  each  churning  wave.  He  had  already  determined  he  would  be  the  one  to  kill  his  father  and  free  his  sister.  That  bastard  deserves  a  slow,  agonizing  death. "But  you  are.  Your  people  know  it.  I  know  it."  Anakin's  jaw  set.  Death  was  an  inevitable  part  of  life.  His  ser,  Obi-Wan  Kenobi,  told  him  not  to  weep  for  those  no  longer  with  them.  If  justice  was  to  be  done,  then  it  was  the  gods'  will.  He  didn't  know  if  he  believed  in  the  Faith  of  the  Seven.  The  Old  Valyrian  gods  dictated  far  different  terms.  His  mother  taught  him  in  their  ways.  "Death  comes  for  everyone  eventually.  Depends  if  you  are  willing  to  let  them  suffer  further  for  the  Hightowers'  greed."

Anakin  couldn't  help  but  chuckle.  His  grandson  always  had  a  wit  about  him.  It  reminded  him  very  much  of  Leia  and  Han  when  they  were  younger.  "Don't  doubt  the  Force.  It  has  an  odd  way  of  testing  boundaries."  Anakin  kicked  over  the  body  near  his  feet.  Poor  fool. Over  the  years,  he  witnessed  more  than  one  miracle.  He  learned  to  trust  the  Force's  will  and  listen  to  its  every  whim.  It  was  like  a  warm  river  that  rushed  through  him  with  crashing  waves.  Sometimes  he  felt  overwhelmed  by  its  pure  strength.  "True.  And  this  is  why  I  am  training  you  to  be  able  to  fend  for  yourself.  You  did  well,  Ben."

updates

for those that are now awake (because i woke up late again) last night i did a major graphic overhaul for anakin. his hotd verse is the forefront now (cause the brain roll is real). this is because i have felt way more welcomed in the got/hotd verse. star wars is too fickle. (i do love the star wars mutuals i have and will be holding onto you guys like glue.) his username changed to vahaemion. which is a nod to all his verses including star wars.

bios for each life have stats now since his name changes depending on the verse. vahaemion is pretty much named in all. whether it be his dragon, his sword, his g*n or ship. (azure angel did not fit since him breaking things off with padme is his canon.)

rules have been updated, mostly triggers. triggers that can be listed on my muses are there or the major ones. its considered dead dove. why i spelled them out.

watching game of thrones for the first time. i'm on season two. i loved ed and cried when he died. love rob, brienne, arya, denny, tyrion, lady stark and jon right now. idk about sansa yet. until she starts to stand up for herself, i'm on the fence about her. (i do love sophie thou)

Anakin  had  a  split  second  to  react  before  dispatching  two  of  the  bounty  hunters.  Without  another  thought  or  doubt,  he  dove  into  Lake  Paonga's  depths.  Losing  Lupin  was  growing  increasingly  troublesome.  How  far  could  the  entity  push  itself  before  it  was  too  much?  Unlike  Lupin,  Anakin  knew  his  limits  to  an  extent.  But  even  then,  his  lungs  burned  and  cried  out  the  further  he  swam  deeper.  Fear  gripped  him  tightly.  What  if  he  was  too  late?  Gripping  his  tunic,  he  managed  to  take  the  device  out  of  his  belt  pouch  with  his  free  hand  to  help  him  get  to  the  surface  safely. His  breath  stayed  labored  as  he  laid  on  the  shore  while  the  aching  in  his  lungs  died  down.  "You  gave  me  no  other  choice."  Managing  to  stand,  he  helped  his  friend  up,  and  his  hand  lingered  on  Lupin's  shoulder.  He  barely  noticed  the  entity's  true  form  until  he  turned  towards  it.  Anakin  tensed  up  slightly  before  letting  his  shoulder  go.  "It's  nothing...  They're  gone.  I  took  care  of  them."
