i claim no credit for the profile pic, just found it and loved it. this blog is just a place to discuss a few of my favorite things. tv, movies, music...all sorts of genius things. multishipping fool, cuz life's too short to pick just one ship. name's Shelby, after a character in Steel Magnolias and of course the Shelby mustang (not that I want one. i'd rather have a comet convertible or a chevy impala). she/her tomboy (34 yrs old) who despises dresses, pink, and all things frilly and loves skulls and words like "apocalypse". love movies, music, tv, books....always writing. my phone is my constant companion and I hate it when I have to let it charge. i have way too many favorite of everything...but hey, why pick just one-or 100-when you can like it all! :P college student at SNHU, currently retrying the college thing at 30, this time online - this should be interesting 🤓.
The following ongoing list is in no particular order of my in-progress/completed fics in the different fandoms and other works (with A03 links for the ones posted). It's mostly for myself to keep track and possibly work on completing more but also as a sort of intro to me I suppose. There are lots of WIPs, very little actually finished. Some just ideas/barely even started. Lots I haven’t touched or looked at for months or even years. I work two jobs and I'm doing online college classes at SNHU, so sometimes there just isn't the time or energy or inspiration or all of the above for writing so my chapter updates and postings are definitely not on a regular schedule. Yes, there are multiple ships for the same characters, cuz I’m one of those multishippers. I also don't judge people for the ships/characters they like or follow, even if they're not my cup of tea. This list/post may grow/change as I work on things/add things/go through different docs and files. Most of my posted fics are already on fanfiction.net, though I’m slowly transferring them to Archive of Our Own. Added a cut cuz this post is already a novel and this list is waaayyy too long.

I’m gonna need you all to get more obsessed with Supergirl 2026. It’s literally every single sarcastic, messy, depressed, grieving, male lead from recent media that accidentally adopts an angry, young girl (also grieving) which forces him to confront his self destructive behavior and realize the impact he can still make. But she’s a girl. This is the character you all love in every piece of media. I’m begging you all to adore her the same way.
