My friend has been in the hospital for four days now.
Fadel (@fadel-dani) has a blood disorder that, without consistent access to medication and treatment, causes severe anemia. This is life threatening. The hospital cannot discharge him because his blood count is dangerously low.
He needs about 420 euros urgently to pay for the days he's already spent in the hospital, but ideally more than that because he doesn't know when he will be discharged.
My friends, you are my only hope now. I desperately need your help. I don't know how I'll be able to raise the money for my hospital stay, and on top of all that, I'm tired and in pain all the time. Please donate.

This is a reminder that in the coming months, every Gazan will have to face a different set of challenges. With the winter season coming in, there will be frequent icy rains and a need to waterproof the tents. There might be displacement again as Siraj mentions that many living by seaside may have their tents flooded. In general rains will bring in floods as the drainage system has been completely destroyed- this will cause epidemics with open sewages and garbage dumping site! There will be an increased demand for fuel too, as temperature drops. All in all an end to summer will not bring relief, rather the situation will be even more bleak.
So please donate and boost ! Currently after losing almost 1/4th of the funds to transaction costs Siraj has very little left with him. He urgently needs to reach 82k so that he can tide over this month and start to prepare for winter. With 23 people to take care of, Siraj cannot get enough help! So please do not turn away. I don't know why there is this sudden drop, to the point that the campaign went stagnant for hours today, but if it is because you are intimidated by the new end goal then I can only say that it was done out of a need. I'm Ahmed, living far from my family who are going through the hardest time of their lives. They are displaced in tents that offer no protection from the cold or the summer heat. Even getting water is a struggle for them. On top of that, they face rockets and shells being fired at them while they are in their tents.
I can't describe the feeling I had when I woke up to the news that last night the occupation dropped tons of explosives on the displaced people's tents while they were asleep. They were buried under the sand by barrel bombs. The news says entire families have been wiped off the face of the earth. Then I pick up my phone to check on my family. I call my father, no signal. I call my mother, no signal. Do you know the panic and fear I live through every moment worrying about my family?

My brother, Samer, battles bipolar disorder, a condition exacerbated by the ongoing war and the severe shortage of essential medications. Without access to the necessary treatment, his life is at risk, and we live in constant fear for his well-being amidst the chaos that surrounds us. These personal tragedies have deepened the urgency of our situation.

Yet, amidst the darkness, we hold onto hope, seeking solace in the belief that one day, the clouds of war will dissipate, and we will find the peace and stability we so desperately crave. Our home, once a sanctuary of love and warmth, was destroyed, displacing us into a life of uncertainty and fear. The laughter of my children and my sister's daughters, once the music of our home, is now silenced by the echoes of conflict.
