Odette and Odile subtopic could actually be so cool. Cause swan lake canon is Odette is hunted and also under a fucking curse alongside her court. They're all under a spell except for a certain few hours per night. Think about that. Just that part alone.

Her and her court are prisoners let out for a few hours per night and alongside this she captivates the attention of the prince. And he vows to save them but he is tricked by Odile. He is tricked and she cannot return to life as a princess.

She is later freed by the guy who cast the curse dying, but she remains a swan. Just not a prisoned swan.

There's a lot more detail and analysis I could open but I fear the essay and insane shit of be writing would be a bit... Intense.
