why does nobody talk more about psychosomatic pain when it comes to c-ptsd and DID. I’m sore just because of a trigger that had nothing to do with my physical state. I have a near migraine, my heart is racing so bad that it hurts, everytime i’m stressed I just have this fullbody ache that I can’t seem to shake off until it passes.

for me, the pain and flashbacks impact my mental health significantly more than the “alters” part of structural dissociation. I can’t even begin to tell you how many nights I’ve spent on the floor doubled down, dissociated and sore because of a trigger or flashback. and I know I’m not the only one - c
