DC S5 Ep12 spoilers

Welp, I'm finally convinced that this season's elimination order is horrible. Because what do you MEAN Dunia got out PRE-MERGE?? I knew it was coming since episode 10, but god.

And I don't blame Sam for this. That man is a MASTERMIND. All alliances on the team are gone and Sam has the most power. He gave a good reason for getting Dunia out, I'll give him that, but that doesn't make it better.

But this season's elimination order is terrible. Out of all of the eleven eliminated so far, SEVEN are the fans (the NEW characters) and only FOUR are favorites. The fans keep losing a majority of the challenges.

I'm starting to think the writers have a bias towards the favourites, ESPECIALLY Tom. Tom has already completed his arc in TJ season 2. The fact he's still here means he was put into this season was to keep the TomJake fans happy, or else they wouldn't watch this season. There's nothing more to add to his character, why is he still here??

I swear, the writers just keep shooting themselves in the foot with their decisions. They're taking out all the interesting characters, refusing to flesh out their new characters, and keep giving the same characters we've seen a million times the spotlight. There were so many missed opportunities to make this season good. They no longer have the fans of the show in mind when making these episodes and if anything will satisfy them. I don't think they even listen to criticism. Fan writers can make a better season than them. Do you think we start boycotting the show, they'll finally listen?

DC Opinions #13: Disventure Camp lost what made it great in season one and the season two remake. All Stars and DC4 had too much melodrama and people at each other’s throats. Not to mention, some characters (Riya, Logan, etc.) do terrible things and get absolutely no consequences, and even when they do, it’s not good enough. I’d rather watch an entire season where Kristal uses her challenges to torment the contestants, kinda similar to what Caine from the Amazing Digital Circus does to Pomni and the others. Also, for those who say to give Fans vs Favorites a chance, SEASON 4 WAS THIS SHOW’S SECOND CHANCE AND I STILL DID NOT LIKE IT!

I had always wished Total Drama had moments that took its story more seriously and thoroughly explored more depth to its characters and the fact that the show itself is a psychological torture session and these kids are all victims of that.

On the opposite end, I wish Disventure Camp would loosen up and have fun with its concepts, not be so melodramatic all the time and spout heavy shit ninety percent of the time, to crack jokes, have some fun action, and embrace the fun factor so that its serious moments hit harder when they do come.

I am an impossible to please person and I am walking the fence trying to find a best of both worlds lmao
