I have a pitch for a new children's television show. The main character is a cool, kind, 10 year old kid who gains superpowers :D She uses her powers to help save people and go on cool adventures! Then all the adults in her life find out about her powers and all the danger she's putting herself into and they forbid her from using them because it's too dangerous and they take matters into their own hands by designing safer cities and writing new laws that will prevent all this danger from happening in the first place. And the main character is only allowed to use her powers sparingly for unimportant things, lest she get too dependent on them. Surely the target audience (real life ten year old children who spend every waking moment of their lives policed by adults) will love this
i envy ppl who can provide deep analysis about their favorite media and/or characters b/c whenever i like something a lot it looks like:
I meant to upload this yesterday, but oops. My brain stopped working (surprise surprise)

From the submitter:
â One thing I notice nowadays is how fast people in general move on from fandom. And Iâm not sure if thatâs actually the case or if itâs just me. What Iâm talking about is:
1. New media gets released. New popular show. Everybodyâs talking about it. Every fanfic and fanart of that fandom gets loads of kudos and comments.
2. Time goes by. Not that long. Maybe a month. Maybe a couple of months. People stop talking about the show. Fanfic and fanart of that show get less kudos and comments. And if itâs been, say, a yearâwhich is still not that longâfanfic and fanart about that show barely get any kudos and comments anymore. Itâs like almost everybody has moved on to newer fandoms. And the circle continues. â
Do you think people move on too fast from fandom? / Do you agree with the submitter?
Yes, I think people move on too fast from fandom / I agree with the submitter
No, I donât think people move on too fast / I donât agree with the submitter
Iâm not in any fandom / Poll does not apply to me
