My Pal Palkia (1)

So a while back, when Pokemon Home had become available to import mons from other generations to Scarlet and Violet, I decided to bring Palkia into my Violet save. Palkia is one of my favorite legendaries. I decided to bring Palkia to a Ground Tera Mimikyu raid, COMPLETELY forgetting that Mimikyu is a Fairy-Ghost type, and thus, super effective against Palkia's dragon typing. I had to deal with so many Play Roughs knocking Palkia down a peg all over the place.

This comic came to mind as to the sheer power difference between the two Pokemon. The god of space versus the little ghostie Pikachu clone. And of course… Palkia is none too happy about being absolutely bodied by him.

I take a moment to use potions on Palkia in the mid-point as we're transporting out of the raid. Palkia expresses his frustration, which… totally warranted. If I were a massive god being defeated by a little ghost in a disguise, I'd be pretty upset too xD Though more ego-bruised than anything.

Giratina floats out of the antimatter universe he inhabits and lands in front of Mimikyu. Tera sparkles kick up as he lands. Palkia and I turn to look, curious why he's here…

Giratina's voice, though distorted, comes through clear. He's super proud of Mimikyu. Any father would be when besting his uncle in a fair fight.

Mimikyu beams with pride at his father's approval. Palkia turns with daggers in his eyes, growling at his brother while Giratina cheekily smirks in Palkia's direction. I figure I'll just stay out of this. It would be hubris to think I can stop a fight between two gods, after all.

Maybe there'll be more to this! Dunno. I'm not much of a story teller, but maybe I'll come up with something. :o

{PSNL} Downtime Banter

So I have been reading Songs of Chaos by Michael R Miller for a bit. I just recently finished Reckoning, the fourth book, and decided I wanted to do a little bit of fan art involving the protagonists, Holt Cook, and Ash, the lunar dragon, with one of their mentors, Rake, a cursed half-dragon. They are often depicted as giving jabbing repartee at one another between battles and shenanigans, with Rake sarcastically saying this to Holt with mock hurt. {PSNL} Faulty Master Ball

A five-part TF image for myself. I finally caught a shiny Mewtwo after hours of searching, but I should have known better than to accept Silph Co's prototype for mass-produced Master Balls... A shock, and within moments, I feel myself shifting. An almost immediate, insistent pull to my tailbone, and the widening of my hips is felt first... Shortly after, I feel a bit of a headache come on as my brain expands and my latent esper abilities go off the scales. I look over myself, confused, unable to speak vocally, but able to speak through telepathy. My thoughts loudly project around the lab. <I'm... {CMSN} Denied Sandwich

Commission for Selth of their Koraidon form, Keith, featuring Nasir. Nasir rode into Lumiose on their Koraidon friend's back during their tour of the Kalos region. The streets of Lumiose are open and quite friendly. There are many French bakeries and bistros around, but one in particular stood out to the Zoroark. One stop and a few Pokedollars spent later, and Nasir sat down at a particularly quiet cafe, with Selth just outside, unhappily watching a delectably delicious sandwich being consumed... Before long, the manager of the store comes out. "Oi..." he calls out. An aged bearded man who was looking right at Nasir.  "C'est votre Koraidon?" (Is that your Koraidon?) Nasir blinked, turning back to Selth, whose tongue had made numerous smears on the wall. "Uhhh... o-oui?" They replied. (Uhh, yeah.) "Il lèche la vitre..." the owner responded with a grumble. (He's licking my window...) Nasir gulped their bite, sighing softly. "Err, désolé." (Er, sorry...) They then pulled out a Pokéball out which had some curiously shiny textures to it, showing it to Selth, and they pulled away from the window with a blush and a whimper. "Je vais le faire attendre pour son sandwich si il continue." they said. (I'm going to make him wait for his sandwich if he keeps that up.)
