I like how Caine got to experience the feeling of seeing a random ass exist door and thus the ability to understand Pomni's perspective. Also probably the reason he went after the door: It was the key to gain an understanding of the humans, after they complained about the "escape the circus" adventure.

But not the one she remembers. A new one. One with softer eyes, happier features and a big red bow on one ear.

Jax has to figure out what the fuck to do. Because they are a girl now. And weirdly okay about it.

Basically, my first attempt at a TADC fic. Currently 26 000 words in and going strong, filled with all ur favourite blorbos.

I noticed lot of people saying that Jax's backstory was just squeezed in the last three episodes. I was not sure if that is completely true, so I decided to analyze all the episodes and yeah! And I always like analyzing stuff like this lol.

To start off with the first episode: Pilot

We already see each of the character's personalities. Some characters more, some less. We can also define who's the main character and all that stuff. So, it's really mostly us getting the picture of the whole thing + important details that will be shown in next episodes.

Jax is shown as rude to other and a bully to the other characters. And, as far as I know, bullying never really comes with no reason. There's always the why. Which is already a question: why is he like that? Is it because of jealousy, trauma?, etc.

She also seems to like to target other people's fears/insecurities/weaknesses. (Gangle's comedy mask being able to break, Ragatha's fear of centipedes.)

Also, a detail I noticed, in the scene when Pomni, Jax and Ragatha go visit Kaufmo, is that Jax reacts quicker than Ragatha&Pomni. Just a detail.

This could imply the (past) friendship between Kaufmo and Jax or just be a meaningless thing, lol. Just wanted to point it out.

We also notice, through the rest of the episode, that she is genuinely concerned/scared about Kaufmo's abstraction, breaking her "idgafer asshole funny guy" character.

And don't forget this. I wonder if this will have any meaning in the future haha.

Now, let's move to episode 2!

Well, this line might be foreshadowing (somehow) to Jax saying, in ep 6, that she'll probably forget about Pomni and move on...

During the episode, we see more of her "I am the funny guy" thing. We start noticing that she quite enjoys being an asshole to everyone and likes violence. We start to understand, that unlike Pomni, she really enjoys (?) the adventures, her freedom to be and do anything and believes that it's all just a cartoon.

She also breaks the fourth wall, which proves my point:

And I noticed that she becomes upset and insults anyone who disagree with her, and like I said, uses people's fears/insecurities against them and likes to blame everyone but herself. She also refuses to be cheered up and seen as vulnerable.

She doesn't show up to Kaufmo's funeral.

and she isn't there in Pomni's vision/daydream of being saved:

My personal headcanon for Ash Ketchum has always been that regardless of if his dream ever came true he'd never truly stop traveling and learning. Because despite "becoming a pokemon master" being his goal if you actually sit down and watch like Any episode of Pokemon the thing that always holds true is his curiosity and desire to learn everything he possibly can related to pokemon. And he'll try anything to! He did contests and the battle frontier. He'd do those silly little shows with Serena if they'd let him.

So I like to imagine him continuing on in life as this nomad who people don't automatically recognize as anyone important ya know? Just this goofy guy going from place to place always lending a helping hand and hes got a cute lil pikachu on him. And hes often lost somewhere with a friend just exploring the woods to see if he'll find anything cool. Ya know, as hes always been, but older now. And its only once hes drifted once more do you maybe stumble into an article on the pokeweb about him and are like... that guy??
