I love drawing art based on different Genshin theories. This art did really well on TikTok, and people in the comments asked which theory I based it on, but I honestly don't know either 😅It's more of a composite of several theories rolled into one.

Random thought about Venti:

Venti is the type of person who would wait for you to confess first.

Not because he doesn't want to or doesn't love you enough, but because he wants to be your choice.

He would die of guilt if he thought you're with him just because you felt pressured to accept his confession, he would rather letting you the freedom of choosing wether be with him or not. (and it is also an ego-boost for him to be chosen by you)

Random thought about Venti:

At first, he hesitates a lot about your relationship.

He's basically immortal so he will have to carry the burden of your loss and his heart just cannot bear the idea of your life slipping away.

And if you were immortal like him we would still hesitate.

We all know he has slept for most of Teyvat's history to avoid erosion, only waking up when Mondstad really needs him and his people pray enough for him to be awakened.

What if he went to sleep and everything between you two changed? He would definitely be heartbroken.

That is until he wakes up and you're still there, waiting for him and loving him the same as you've always had.

When Venti starts falling in love with you, the first thing he will do is to see if there is a slight chance for you to reciprocate them. After all, he wouldn't want his feelings to be a burden to you in any way. So at the beginning you can expect him inviting you for some outings, whether it's going for a walk in the forest or inviting you for dinner or drink~

When he finally knows you enjoy spending time with him and love his presence, the next step will be writing and sending you some poems (some more hinting on his feelings, some not). Everyone who comes to listen to his ballads will quickly learn how deeply in love the bard is. They can swear they saw him glowing especially when you came to listen to him.

On nights when you can't sleep, if you open your window to enjoy the evening breeze soon you may hear music playing. Looking from where the sound is coming, you will see Venti serenading for you. Even if his voice is soothing and makes you relax, you're not sure if you will be able to fall asleep with how fast your heart starts to beat.

Flowers. Every week there will be a bouquet of flowers waiting at your windowsill. There will always be Cecilias and your favourite one in the bouquet, intertwined together to represent you and him.
