I think about this shit constantly.
Anyone else remember when we were like, decades ahead of this kind of thinking, and advocating for co-ed sports, because we all understood that two people undergoing the same training at the same intensity for the same amount of time would achieve roughly the same result regardless of agab?
I think this is one of my least favorite aspects of genderist ideology - this belief that if a person has less muscle or smaller bones or different bone structure, they are inherently “weak” and inferior. Male bodies are always the default, and genderists will fight tooth and nail to erase the existence of female bodies because they believe that any deviation from maleness is inherently inferior. And when they see people saying “actually women are not just men with inverted penises” they accuse us of being misogynistic. They cannot wrap their heads around the idea that female people can be different from males without being inferior to them.
And to top it all off, they end up deciding that female people are consistently smaller and less muscular because we just aren’t as hardworking or ambitious as males. The only reason why no women have ever been able to compete with elite male athletes in so many events and sports is, apparently, the fact that not a single woman in the world has ever worked as hard as male athletes do. Somehow the extreme misogyny of this belief is perfectly acceptable to them, but the fact that female bodies are different from males is taboo. And based on my experiences with genderists, it’s likely because they hate women so much that they truly believe that we can only be seen as human if our physical forms can be completely denied and erased, and all the evidence of our differences and the ways in which we’re vulnerable and oppressed based on those differences must be attributed to individual failings on the part of the women who are affected.

its actually insane how much what's considered normal makeup has changed in just a few years. like if u watch an old michelle phan (arguably the first major beautytuber) video, she uses the little sponges from the eyeshadow palette and her fingers to apply, she basically never contours or highlights and rarely uses blush, and her looks are simple and would take maybe 15 minutes to do on yourself. whereas a modern video by nikkitutorials would have concealer, contour, highlighter, bronzer, foundation, tinted powder, finishing powder, eyebrow gel + pomade, and blush as first steps not even explicitly included in the video because it's just the expected base layer. then the actual tutorial will involve multiple brushes that cost more than the actual makeup and a million tiny specific applicators for every step and all this with a beauty filter blurring the whole thing so u cant even tell what it would actually look like. how did it get this extreme

girls and women and ladies and especially everyone who wants/has wanted a nose job: you can get the “most perfect” nose, ones that will make people (and literally do in this thread) say “you genetically lucked out”, but at the end of it all you might still say “I wanted this for over 12 years and it cost me over £10k and I feel like an idiot.”
