Laying on my bed at 11 PM, thinking about how Giorno would’ve ended up like Versus if he didn’t happen to encounter that injuries gangster, someone who is bitter about society and just wants to be happy, being willing to do anything for it and betraying anyone he works with because he grown to hate being ordered around, he’ll enact DIO’s plans for heaven, not because he cares about his father or whatever, but because he just wants to finally be at peace and happy, he never experienced love or affection ever..

Alternatively, Giorno could’ve ended up like Ungalo, sorta similar to Versus but with a addiction to drugs and being way more vulgar, he hates the world because he can’t find any purpose at all so he just gives up, believing to be the scum of the earth, that is until he discovers his stand, happy with his new purpose, he plunges the world into chaos without a single care, it what it deserves

And who knows! Perhaps the opposite is true, if both Versus and Ungalo also met a savior in their terrible lives, they would’ve been living brighter lives

Alas, fate did not favor them, so the former is dead and the latter lost the will to live

I wonder what Giorno would think of his brothers and their circumstances…

the title is from paul simon’s ‘call me al.’ that song is very part 5 to me, but this particular lyric is my favorite and fits here very well.

apologies for the ending i seem to need to add a post canon scene with johnny and the coffin in every comic ive made so far.. this is also my trojan horse of sneaking interpretations of gyro and johnny’s individual complexities into lovey dovey slop.

i enjoyed making this and had a brainworm about it til i could complete it, so please enjoy!

more ppl should talk abt how dona's trial was public (because of ichiro's involvement) and that honestly ruined his life more than the incarceration itself did

his public reputation was completely tainted and araki wrote that he lived "secluded" from the public eye / society since his release, so there definitely was a societal impact on him
