Okay, I see some people say it's a good ending and others are complaining because we didn't get a kiss, that we just care about Aziracrow and not the series as a whole.
Very well. I will try my best to leave out the romance and stick to the story while I explain why I just can't be happy with this season. Kindly bear with me.
#1 The Second Coming?
The Second Coming, like the Armageddon in Season 1, was supposed to be this gigantic project everyone in heaven and hell was working on for such a long time. If I'm not mistaken, all we got to see was that Michael just lost it on their own. What happened to groupwork?
#2 What was the Metatron for
I first want to say that I totally understand the physical limits the staff had to face, with the series being cut to a single episode. But it seems to me that the Metatron was very important in the previous two seasons, a mastermind. He claimed that speaking to him is the same as speaking to God. For such an authoritative character, he gets so little screen time.
#3 Why Jesus
As the Antichrist was a central character in the first series, I expected Jesus to be one in the final series. But all he did was play with cards, give out free pizza, comfort people, and disappear. Seems to me he has no role whatsoever in the main plot.
#4 How did Crowley and Aziraphale keep existing (only to disappear in the next moment)
How did they still exist if all the pages of the Book of Life was burnt but that one page of the bookshop? Were they not in the Book of Life? Then how come?
#5 How can God create a godless universe?
I'm not a religious person, so I may be wrong but I think this might go against the whole concept of being 'omnipresent'. Creating a universe where God still exists but doesn't intervene, sure. But creating a universe without God's existence? I'm not even sure that's logically possible.
#6. What happened to the defiant Crowley?
Crowley is famous for asking questions, which is what got him in trouble in the first place. Up till the end, he was all '"I don't believe you get to decide." But at the last minute, he accepted the options God handed out to him. That there were only two options, that either the human world or he and Aziraphale had to be gone. Why did he not consider other ways out, such as rewriting the Book of Life? Or making a deal with God or something like that?
#7. What happened to the "I can make things better" Aziraphale?
Just to add to the previous question. The Aziraphale we know would try to make the situation better, see it in a new light. He would question why free will and angels and demons cannot coexist. He would suggest a new solution, no matter how naive it might seem. Even if he knows God would dismiss it, at least he would ask. Because he's an angel who tries to see the good in everything, who believes he can actually make a difference.
I could also add how the human version of Crowley and Aziraphale aren't them, just as how Job's seven new children couldn't be the same as the original ones. And how betrayed and wretched I feel because the original Aziracrow are gone along with 6000 years worth of their history. But I said I would leave the romance out of this, so I'll save that for another post. (Questions 6 and 7 aren't about the ship, it's about the consistency of characters.)

Working on: A Good Omens based fairy tale. It's not about longing, or falling slowly (or not so slowly in love) in love. No smut either, so not the kind of fanfic the audience is waiting for 😂 But I want to write it and so I will 😁 and yes, at some point they will fall in love because it's about them 😊 but it's not the main plot of the story

The Australian government recently passed a bill that legally requires every citizen to have a digital ID linked to their real identity to access the internet, and completely bans under sixteens from accessing social media, as of the tenth of December, 2025.
As a frequent Australian social media user, as someone who has found more friends on the internet in the past year than I ever have in my entire life, and as an anarchist, I am strongly opposed to this. And if you aren’t, wake up. Read the bill. Understand that this is going to negatively impact all of us, especially teenagers, queer people, and disabled people.
And the worst part is, the majority of Australians don’t care or even know that this is happening. And that’s why I’m making this post, and asking you to help bring attention to this. If you are Australian, write to every government official you can. Join a protest if you are able.
And, most importantly: strike. Strike from the internet, work, school, anything that will get the government’s attention. Make this backfire in their faces as soon as possible. And don’t think that none of this will do anything. There are almost twenty-eight million people in Australia. Do you know how much we could do of even a few hundred thousand could cooperate on this? Do you know how much good striking has done in the past? Community can make this possible, I believe in us.
I am begging you, don’t take this lying down. It is your right as a human being to have freedom.
