Lead sheets for “Chemical Plant Zone,” from Sonic the Hedgehog 2! A vgm classic if there ever was one. I realized after making the lead sheet that I had done this song on the blog 5 years ago, but the chords turned out better on this one anyway. Sorry for the awkward D# minor key signature on the E-flat sheet 😬

I decided to try a slightly different format on this week’s lead sheets. I’m focusing on the main melody instead of including the 8-bar intro on the song, and I’ve also labeled the A, B, and C sections of the tune.The full transcription (including the intro) will be posting tomorrow, and I’m pretty proud of it.

Full transcription of “Gourmet Race,” from Kirby Super Star! I posted lead sheets yesterday. The smaller notes on the first page are a little hard to hear in the actual tune, but I picked them out by isolating channels with JCOM-SPC. The larger notes in the bass clef are the more prominent bass line.
