ISFP Anime characters Post 1

Character of examination: “Samurai Jack”

Fi dom: Jack is an Fi dom and if you’ve season 5 especially you’ll know why. Jack has extremely deep and passionate morals that he lives by, he is constantly going out of his way to help others and is abiding by his inner morals, in every sense of the word he is righteous. The sword itself can only be wielded be someone who is morally righteous. Overall all of his actions are guided by his internal morality, it’s the center of his being

Se aux: Jack is a sensor he is extremely aware of his environment and displays Kinesthetic intelligence. He uses his environment in his fights and even uses his clothes at times when his sword can’t do the job by itself. He is quick on his feet and acts upon his Fi internal values to make the world a better place to defeat Aku.

Ni ter: Jack isn’t intuitive, but when he can’t solve a problem with his usual Fi or Se, he falls back to Ni. In one episode he was fighting a evil version of himself and was at a stalemate, when he realized fighting wasn’t going to work he intuited on why he won’t win. He was blasted with an insight that revealed that the evil version of jack was born from his internal disharmony, he then used Fi to create internal harmony to defeat the evil version on himself.

Te inf: Jack doesn’t show Te that much at all in the series and you can see it’s his downfall in the series because his Fi is so strong he is constantly tricked by villains who pose as people in help without questioning if it’s the logical decision to do. He uses Te to organize the external world to appease to his Fi, for example by destroying Aku.

ISTP RANT

- Hey an angry ISTP here reporting that we as istp’s and other sensors in general are over looked in the community.

- Obviously not everywhere, but hell there are still a lot of people who look at sensors as people who never question anything and just live to live.

- Well that’s wrong ! Sensors day dream Sensors have goals and Sensors can have intuitive insights.

- The problem is that when a sensor seems to have the slightest bit of intuition a lot of people will instantly type that sensor as an intuitive.

- People are more complex than that a normal person uses all of their functions

- A lot of ISTP’s get mistyped as INTJ’s or INFJ’s or maybe even INTP’s because of tertiary Ni, We have intuition and we do thing about things like death, the meaning of life, day dream, and have awesome visions of the future, but we are not intuitives WE ARE ISTP’S !!!

- If you want sources to type an ISTP correctly watch these two videos from Michael Pierce they are probably the most insightful videos of ISTP’s that exist.

Since these guys constantly get mistyped I’m going to make a  post over them. As an ISTP I can just see another ISTP from a mile away now after studying mbti.

Character of examination: “Shinya Kogami”

Ti dom: Shinya Kogami constantly does what makes sense to him due to his internal sense of logic, not what the system says, no objective sense of logic, but his own logic that is crafted from personal experience. His Ti is also evident when you see him training getting every action right it’s perfectionist. Shinya is loyal to his own code not any external code.

Se aux: Shinya Kogami takes action, once Ti makes a decision Shinya jumps into action, you can also Se in the elegance of his actions and how fluid each movement is. Se also results in his extreme desires for freedom to do whatever the hell he wants, also in his adrenaline seeking tendencies

Ni tertiary: Shinya gets most of his information from the real external world(Se), but does rely on internal intuition multiple times throughout the series to track down Makishima Shogo. It focuses on one aspect and zooms in on it.

Fe inferior: Fe inferior is obvious in Shinya Kogami, when any function is in your inferior it makes using social niceties and polite mannerisms extremely tiring, it makes you want to leave the social setting, in a sense to leave the group and find your own path. The only time Shinya uses Fe is to lie to inspector Akane to get out a situation.

Statistics MBTI

Why are there so many INFJ’s/ INTJ’s on tumblr !

- I find it odd why people say how are there so many INFJ’s/INTJ’s on tumblr ? it only seems rational that they would gravitate on this platform. Ni dominants are always looking for the connection that binds everyone together so they are usually avid followers of MBTI theory and it would make sense that they would like to discuss it on a platform that has a large community.

I don’t think people understand how many humans there are on the planet

- Even though INTJ’s (2.1%) and INFJ’s (1%) only take up about (3.1%) of the world, it’s still a shit ton of people

- Another thing I’d like to mention is that people don’t realize that 1 percent is still a shit ton of people. For example the population of the US is 318.9 million people and according to the statistics INFJ’s make up 1% of the population, so what’s 1% of 318.9 million people. 3,189,000, Three million one hundred eighty nine thousand is 1 percent of the US. So there’s around that many INFJ’s in the United states alone.

- 3,189,000 is a shit ton of people, It’s not odd that there is a lot of INFJ’s on tumblr because cognitive function wise they naturally are attracted to connections in peoples personalities, and there’s about THREE MILLION, ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY NINE THOUSAND INFJ’S IN THE US ALONE. 

- I only did this to show the community that it’s fine and it’s normal that there are so many Ni dominants in the community, some people might be mistypes but we’re not all mistypes NI DOMS EXIST

The Tatami Galaxy, Watashi/Protagonist MBTI

So I was just chilling, refusing to leave my office (that I have sadly have become a a hermit in), and I started to watch the Tatami galaxy, and damn the episode where Watashi refuses to leave his room was literally the same situation I was in at the time.

It was loop!, well this is my theory !

In MBTI you have 4 four cognitive functions that are stacked on top of each other it’s dominant, auxiliary, tertiary, inferior. 

Dom - Aux - Tertiary - Inferior

and these functions have a direction, either introverted or extroverted, and depending on your dominant functions direction it sets the direction for the other functions.

For example I’m an Istp

So my healthy function stack is this; Ti - Se - Ni - Fe.

But when someone ignores their auxiliary function they fall into this shitty thing called loop

When an Istp falls into loop Ni overrides Se and the stack changes to this

Unhealthy Istp loop stack: Ti - Ni - Se - Fe

So when Istp falls into loop its because they aren’t using Se enough and it falls back seat to Ni. 

This happens to Watashi when he becomes in love with his 4.5 tatami room and he doesn’t let himself go outside because Ti and Ni believe that allowing his desire to get more real world world stimulus (Se) would make him a shallow person.

So he forces himself to stay inside the 4.5 tatami room for a couple of days, and his Se slowly get pushed back and this is where loop starts for Watashi.

Ti and Ni begin theorizing and Watashi can’t become productive or do anything because Se keeps being annoying and makes him want to go outside. So while stuck in the room he falls into a loop of constant theorizing not wanting to come out, making himself miserable in the process, and realizes he is stuck in this internal loop, and needs to go into the real world  and accept it for what it is Se, to get out of loop.

Well you can comment about the theory, or whatever, I can relate so well to Watashi because I don’t want to leave my office rn lol and embrace the moment for what it is.
