Date Night || Tedtoire

Teddy was getting restless, as the hours passed. There was nothing he could do to help bring Jace back home at the moment, and it was driving him crazy. He was thankful for Victoire’s idea about spending the evening together. They hadn’t had the opportunity to spend any quality time together, and truthfully, Teddy missed his fiancee.

He made his way down to Victoire’s office, and smiled as he knocked on the door. “Erm, Professor? Can I speak with you for a moment? After speaking, Teddy laughed and opened the door to her office. In a couple of lengthy strides, he was right beside her. Teddy held out his hand to her, giving her an invitation to hold his hand. “Are you ready to leave the depressing dungeons and have a fun evening for once?” Once he was finished speaking, a small smile appeared on his face as he waited for her to answer his question.

Victoire stood in her office, humming to herself as she got herself ready for her date with Teddy. It felt like years since she had gone on some sort of adventure with him, and she was more than happy to have been given the opportunity. Besides, she hated to see him like this, so worried and distressed about... something. She really hoped it wasn't anything too big or bad, for she didn't want him to be like this for a long time. He didn't deserve to be constantly so upset and worried.

Hearing the familiar voice from behind her, a smile as wide as the world spread across her lips and she turned around, meeting his eyes. "Oh yes, what is it?" she teased him with a laugh, immediately taking his hand as he held it out to her. It was almost something she did subconciously; It was part of her nature now. She looked up at him, her blue eyes swimming in his deep brown ones. "I am definitely ready to leave the darkness and gloom of the dungeons," she said with a small smile, raising her eyebrows and nodding her head. "C'mon let's go to the kitchens. They usually have little baskets down there." She pulled on his hand, leading him out of her room.
