People seem to think that God just always gives a pass for motives/character. My Bible says He chastises/corrects those He loves (Hebrews 12:5-7). He loves all of us. Good parents make sure they correct their kids if the kid is doing wrong in any area so that he/she improves and does better in life. That being said, correction will come.
