I have not read the Dreamer Trilogy yet, but I’m planning to after a reread of the Raven Cycle.

I don’t want any spoilers but I also know my emotional limits.

Can someone (with minimal spoilers) just let me know if Adam and Ronan end up together and happy at the end lol

I’m almost at the end of my All for the Game original trilogy reread, and I have an opinion that I fear might be unpopular.

I think The Foxhole Court might be my favorite book of the three.

Idk, something about the levity you feel when first entering the story. You know nothing of the extent of cruelty they all have experienced and will experience in future books. You see everything through the one-track, exy-loving mind of a young runaway feeling hope for the first time in his short life. The way he perfectly navigates the new relationships in his life without even realizing how the foxes are also healing from their own traumas. But there’s zero judgement of their attitudes and actions, because what would Neil know about “normal”. Every moment of kindness was stopping him in his tracks and peeling away the forced mundane and boring persona he put on until what was left was the real Neil.

It’s oddly inspiring, and touching, and I love it so much.

My first fandom/fanfiction exposure being sterek from teen wolf is so funny because for years I would read omegaverse fics and be like haha yeah cause he’s a werewolf

Just made it to the first “I asked.” moment between Neil & Andrew during my reread of All for the Game, and I’m dying 😭

The Foxes’ first game is actually such a great chapter…

Hawking getting up in Andrew’s face and Andrew just staring back at him bored, leaning on his racket casually.

Neil angry as hell that the Jackals are ganging up on Andrew.

Kevin telling Matt to “get him off me” and Matt doing so immediately by punching Hawking in the ribs.

Andrew PROTECTING Matt from Hawking’s retaliation???

Andrew tending to Kevin’s hand mid-game!!!

…10/10 chapter.

This book is only a slow burn if you are as in denial as Neil is while reading it.

Doing a reread of All for the Game, and it will always surprise me how immediately Andrew is taken by Neil.

Barely a chapter and a half in and he’s asking “is Neil coming too?” when leaving Wymack’s place. Plus his oh. moment once Neil shows him the slightest bit of sass.
