This is Just The Veganning...

Article:
I don’t know about you but this is my first time blogging or even following a blog so go easy on me or don’t! I mean this is suppose to help us learn about writing and research so maybe harsh criticism is exactly what I need. Anyway, when I read that we had to analyze 3-5 food blogs, I immediately thought of my high school FCS (Family and Consumer Sciences) teacher! If anyone was going to know about good food blogs to follow, it would be her plus I love checking in with my past FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) — if you are wondering what that is, I promise that I will overshare about it at some point — advisors so that was a major plus. First off, I would like to be clear that I am NOT a vegan. I do fully support people who choose vegan-ism but, for many reasons, I am not one of those individuals. My high school FCS teacher, on the other hand, is; she has recently made the decision to go from vegetarian-ism to vegan-ism. The three blogs that she recommended to me were Vegan Richa, It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken, and Hell Yeah It’s Vegan!.
Blog Introduction
Vegan Richa
Keywords: cuisines, mains, snacks, desserts, breads, vegan-ized Indian and fusion foods, cookies, cakes, breakfasts, bakes
It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken
Keywords: comfort food, pasta, burgers, burritos, soups, cookies, cupcakes, quick and easy
Hell Yeah It’s Vegan!
Keywords: almond, appetizers, apple, banana, bars, black beans, blueberry, bread, cake, candy, carrot, chocolate, Christmas, cilantro, cinnamon, coconut, cold cookies, cream cheese, fried, gluten-free, holiday, Jewish, muffins, no-bake, nuts, oatmeal, oats, peanut butter, pecan pie, pudding, pumpkin, punk, raisin, salad, soup, tahini, tofu, tomato, vanilla, vegan, bacon, vegan cheese, walnuts
When I analyzed these three blogs, I took three of their most recent posts and asked the following questions:
Who is their intended audience?
What is the purpose of their blog?
What kind of appeals does the blog make?
How are those appeals made?
What effective techniques or modes are being made?

The last question I asked myself was: Would I add these to blogs to my blogroll?
In general, I would be willing to add a Vegan blog to my blogroll but if I had to choose from the three, I would add It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken and Hell Yeah It’s Vegan!. They are all great blogs but I am frustrated when people insist on attribution like Vegan Richadid so for that reason alone, I would not add her to my blog roll. I would still totally make her recipes though!
