Hello people ! My name is Victor and I have started this blog to have a place to ramble and share some snippets of my writings.

Why did I choose victoriously-writing-shit as my blog name ? Well Victor is my name so it's kind of a pun with victor, victorious, and because I write a lot of different things, well, it's a lot of shit (as in, things.)

A little bit of Victor History TM

I started writing stories almost as soon as I started learning how to write. I still have memories of me in the playground of my elementary school writing away on my notebooks about mermaids, superheroes, love stories that would make Bella and Edward cringe etc...

When I was around 11 years old is when I discovered fanfiction. It was an immediate hit for me : I would start to read them first, on Wattpad (yes I'm guilty of a Wattpad phase) then I started writing them. 2021 is the year that brought me to Ao3, which I am now fully active on. So it has been 4 years as of the publishing of this post !

#fanfic.new => will use this when I post a new fanfiction, whether it be a one shot/duo shot or a multi chapter work in progress

The wind was hurling outside - It felt like a storm was coming. Simon's words were stolen by the harsh wind when Samuel and John stepped outside. He gestured inside the cart, where an empty space was made between crates and cloths. "It's not very princely, I know." Simon remarked bitterly - words barely louder than the hurl.

Okay. Okay. The story was last uploaded in March 29th, and here I am STILL struggling over this. Trust me when i tell you i haven't actually struggled this much in my 10-something-years of writing.

At this point i had talked about this to mutuals, IRL friends, heck my own family trying to detangle the mess of this chapter and no one helped or gave a satisfying tie UNTIL literally 2 hours ago thanks to a conversation on this AGAIN with my best friend (Lu if you see this, I LOVE YOU)

I think my main problem was that, this is a VERY important chapter for the story, and i had essentially two distinct ways of dealing with it, ways that I kept going back and forth between without knowing which to keep and the other to discard. They both had their very appealing result and scene ideas, and their fair share part of anguish and interesting way to start tying up the last act of By Thy Sword.

This post serves as both a reminder that hi !! I'm still working on this !! don't worry i have not abandoned it !! (i think i thought about it at least once per day since march lol) AND a sign of life, since, even from discord, I very much vanished.

on my main ( @laufey-delia - you're welcome to join the chaos of this blog) i mentioned starting a new job, so this was also both a cataclyst to motivate myself to keep thinking about this story, and to both explain my lack of presence. also throughout me writing By Thy Sword, i would always go on a drive into nowhere to get my thoughts rolling and break my writer's block on previous chapters. That didn't fucken help for this one. I was really at a lost for so long SOB

ANyway !! Thank you so much for your patience and I apologize sooo fucking hard to have left you hanging for so long !!! Please, I am OVERJOYED to announce the chapter 32 to be back on the active works, and to expect in the coming weeks (trying for 2 weeks from now or earlier) the new chapter !
