VIDEOMANCY Residency: PROJECTED FUTURES Gladstone’s Art Hut (located across the street from the Gladstone Hotel)

Opening Reception: Jan 6, 7pm – 10:30pm (as part of Long Winter Music Series)

During their residency, VIDEOMANCY will transform the windows of the Art Hut into a visual portal of prophetic visions.  Over the course of one week, the Art Hut will be lit up nightly with video divinations reflecting the transitive nature of the quickly gentrifying area of Toronto and the effects on it’s creative communities.

Here’s images from last night’s ACID BATH equinox party at The White House Studios, Toronto. brandon-dalmer and I created a projection mapping sigil that we live mixed all night. I also created a shrine alter using repurposed pallet skids and lit a candle for a “thawing ritual”. Cassandra Whitman read tarot cards and there was a live performance by Hexuul. DJ SINS (Deth records) played awesome acid house into the night. Fun times with art and magik.
