I am in my twenties, so I will not get chummy with minors. I don't mind if minors follow and reblog stuff from here however. While I am an adult, I do not wish for any NSFW, kink, and/or fetish blogs to interact with my self.

I think it would be cool if they decide to add more minigames aside from Swimmy Barnaby (and perhaps the other arcade games), that they could include the TCG as a minigame.

I mean if Mouse P.I could have a baseball card minigame I don't see why Dandy's World can't do it. Maybe there would be a room somewhere for minigames like this, perhaps we'd be able to enter it through the place were the arcade machines are at (right of Dyle's shop). Like how we enter Roleplay Mode through the door on the left.

And you'd probably be able to buy card packs (with ichor) from Dandy or Dyle's shop!

Silly-Time Blot!

While I haven't drawn them yet, I do have lore for Paraview Connie, Soulvester, and Cleo. So I wanna share them here.

So Connie and Soulvester are Gorgon-Ghost hybrids. But they were just regular Gorgons prior, the ghost part only came in after they died.

Both of them have lived (or rather, unlived) for a long time, as they were alive during the days of the Byzantine Empire/Eastern Roman Empire (Medieval Roman Empire, essentially). During the time they were alive, they kept their gorgon parts a secret.

Tragically, Connie ended up dying from tuberculosis while her brother was out fighting in a war. Connie doesn't like to admit she died that way, thinking it's "lame", so she makes up stories on how she died whenever she's asked that (similar to Polly Geist from Monster Prom).

Connie returned as a ghost since she wanted to continue "living", she had a life ahead of her after all. She was discovered by Paraview Academy's Board Game Club, who used a oujia board one night, summoning her.

Soulvester died in battle, specifically bleeding out from his injuries. He heard about his sister's death shortly before the battle that ended in his death, hence his performance during the battle was hindered, weaker than it was for the battles prior. When asked how he died, he does tell the "I died in battle" part, but exaggerates it and fabricates a few things to make his death seem more "grandiose" than it actually was.

He returned from the grave due to his regret for not being able to be by his sister's side. As such he has mild separation anxiety, as he will start worrying for his sister's safety if separated from her for too long (which does annoy her). In fact, this is how he became a Paraview Academy student. Since Connie was summoned via the oujia board, she was separated from her brother, so Soulvester went to look for her and was able to trace her whereabouts to the school.

Cleo was a member of the Thutmose royal family during Egypt's 18th Dynasty (so she's older than Connie and Soul) and heiress to the throne. Sadly she was assassinated via a venomous snake bite (ironic, given what her "cousins" are) before she got the chance to be Pharaoh. Oddly enough Cleo is the only one of three to tell the whole truth of the story, because since she was assassinated, she had to have been important.

Cleo was in her sarcophagus for a LONG time, and was only awoken when British explorers recovered items (i.e stole from) the pyramid she was buried in, including her sarcophagus, and took them to a museum. This disturbed Cleo from her centuries long slumber, and well...she was not happy about her and her stuff removed from her place of rest initially.

The Thutmose royal family are ancestors of Connie and Soulvester (just like in the original "canon). But they call her their "cousin" for simplicity's sake, and because they feel that's more fitting than "ancestor" in terms of relationship.

All three of them carry side effects from their deaths. Cleo has the snake bite marks on her left leg, Soulvester has the scars from battle on his back, arms, and chest, and Connie has coughing fits every so often.

Anniversary 🎂

Overview

The Anniversary Event, also known as the “Birthday” event is a holiday event in Dandy’s World that begins in June. It is made to celebrate the anniversary of the game’s Alpha Release launch (June 14th) while also celebrating the start of the Dandy’s World Show in 1987 and Dandy’s birthday.(in-universe).

The event currency for the holiday is Cupcakes (formerly, Presents) and the main colors representing the holiday are Pink and White.

Just like for the other events, the floor system regarding event Twisteds is slightly different. The Rare Holiday Twisted is now a guaranteed encounter at Floor 10, and the Rival Holiday Twisted is now a guaranteed encounter at Floor 15. In this case, Twisted Jacob and Twisted Crash respectively.

Requirements for Golden Quests have also been adjusted to be less “grindy”.

Floor Event

The floor event for this event is known as “Fire Hazard”. Fire Hazards function similarly to Ichor Leaks. When a Fire Hazard happens, the floor will have flames in random places. When a Toon comes into contact with a flame, they get caught on fire and they stop moving, requiring the player to rapidly press the right and left keys/A and D keys to put themselves out. If they fail to do so within the short time limit, they lose a heart. Similar to Twisted Squirm’s mechanic mixed with Ichor Leaks.

Like with other Floor Events, Fire Hazards have a corresponding elevator card to go with it:

Smoke Alarm Decreases the chance of a Fire Hazard occurring on future floors.

Dandy’s Shop Item

During runs, Dandy has the chance to show up in his shop with a plate with a cake on it, which the Toons can take a slice of from for free. These cake slices provide 25 extra points to a Toon’s Max Stamina for the entire floor it’s used on.

Cake Slice Use this item to increase your max stamina by 25 points for the entire floor.

Dandy also has unique dialogue whenever a Toon grabs a slice of cake:

“Happy Anniversary! Have some cake!” “Happy Birthday to me! Dig in everybody!” “Care for some cake? Dyle and Dinah helped make it!”

Lore

🎂 The Malfunction Incident happened on Anniversary Day. Annie and the Anniversary Toons had spent a lot of time making the celebration of the show’s 15th anniversary (started in 1987, I think) as “bigger than better than ever!”. Unfortunately the incident, whatever it was, ruined it. All that hard work went down the drain.

🎂 Annie witnessed the death of the other Anniversary Toons in the incident, being plagued with survivors guilt (feeling like she failed them as their leader) before she became a Twisted all alone. Which is why Twisted Annie is so desperate to cling onto the company of other Toons.

🎂 Preston is the younger brother to Boxten and Hattie is the younger sister to Yatta.

🎂 Each of the Birthday Toons, sans Crash, have a specific role in the party planning process. Annie is the leader of the party planners, does the overall planning, and prepares the food, Jacob is in charge of the activities, music, and general entertainment, Preston figures out and wraps the presents, and Hattie does the decorations and goodie bags.

🎂 Annie does not consider Crash one of the Party Planners due to his tendency to muddle things up. Though she has never told him this outright. She reluctantly includes him regardless.

🎂 Crash has no specific role when he’s included, he just helps the others with whatever they do.

What are Rival Toons?

Rival Toons are, as their title implies, rivals to the Main Characters. Usually being the antagonists of the episodes they are featured in.

Not all Rivals are jerks, some are actually friendly (Thorn, Debbie, Moanica, etc). Again they just oppose or are the opposite of the Main in some way.

Game-wise they have 2 hearts and 2 abilities like Main Characters. However they only have 15 stars in the stat pool like the other Toons. In terms of ranking they are above Rares but below Mains.

Overview

The April Fools’ Day event, otherwise known as the “Maypril Fools’ Day” event is a holiday event in Dandy’s World that celebrates the holiday of April Fools’ Day. However, ironically the event is actually held in May and is called the “Maypril Fools’ Day” in-universe, so as to not conflict with Easter.

The currency for the event is Whoopie Cushions and the main colors representing the holiday are purple and red.

Floor Event

The floor event for this event is known as “False Alarm”. In this, a security alarm will be activated, disabling all sounds such as the sound of Twisteds like Mains, Squirm, Blot, etc, and the sound of Toons getting hit, etc. Twisteds are also at their Panic Mode speed throughout the whole floor. However Twisteds can no longer hear the sounds of Skill Checks either to compensate. The lights will turn red to indicate the floor event is happening.

Like with other Floor Events, False Alarm have a corresponding elevator card to go with it:

Enhanced Security Decreases the chance of a False Alarm occurring on future floors.

Dandy’s Shop Item

During runs, Dandy has the chance to show up in his shop with bottles of invisible ink. These bottles of ink make Toons invisible to Twisteds for a couple seconds upon being used. 🤡 Whooper is the in-universe “Scrappy” character. Out of all the Main Characters, Whooper is the least liked, even outright hated by some people. He is disliked by viewers of the show because they find him “annoying” and “not funny”, some even believing his pranks are “mean” despite the fact Whooper’s pranks were never intended to cause harm to others.

🤡 In contrast to Bassie, Whooper wants to get replaced so he can get the negative attention of of him. Specifically he wants to be replaced by Debbie. However Arthur and Delilah refuse to let him step down because he is considered the “perfect embodiment” of his holiday unlike Debbie.

🤡 Because Whooper wasn’t allowed to step down from his role, he settled on setting up for physical/slapstick comedy that came at his expense, so the audiences would still laugh…But he wasn’t laughing with them.

🤡 Like Bassie, Whooper did not become a Twisted due to dying (ex: Bobette, Romeo, etc), but he became Twisted due to mental breakdown.
