I do not like comparing suffering. We can both be in pain and both be valid even if someone perceived one pain worse than the other. We are a social species and crave comfort and it’s not an Olympic battle for “who is suffering the worst,” and only that person gets care. No, we care for one another. We sympathize, we empathize, we are kind to each other
Tonight I had a dumb supper for Samhaim, I put my dad's old ID badge at the empty seat. I felt a lot of warmth and energy through my body during the dinner. I'm trying to reframe my mind that he's here, he's with me today and he's not any less proud of me.
I'm not mad about the fact that I cleaned the kitchen, since he is stressed and has done dishes regularly. I'm annoyed because he hasn't even said 'thank you' for doing so.
Like ??? Organised the pantry, tidyed the whole counter, cleaned the counter and stove top. Not even a 'that looks nice' or a 'thank you'
I get he's stressed because he's doing his stressed habits, but like ????

Lawyers contacted a senior adviser to Scott Morrison after he leaked copies of Malcolm Turnbull’s yet to be published memoir.
Nico Louw, the adviser, apologised after sending a copy of the book to 59 friends and Turnbull’s publishers believe digital copies have been widely distributed. The book A Bigger Picture, calls Scott Morrison a “control freak”, and is published 20th of April.
A lawyer said “such an act is calculated to cause irreparable harm and damage to my clients.” So we’ll see if this turns into a legal battle.

honestly every time you say or type a negative thing about yourself, it feels more real even when its not. that’s why positive self talk is so important. You have to try to catch yourself, you have to try to talk to yourself in a positive way, even if you don’t believe it. If you only speak negatively to yourself, then you might not break that cycle of self-hatred
