This moment right here is one of infinity reasons why I adore Lora.
“Fuck yes felony adventure shenanigans get in the van losers.”
She’s successfully manipulating two boys at the same time while both are next to each other she’s good
Even better - the mister and the ex. who couldn’t freaking stand one another ten minutes earlier.
It also says a lot for Lora’s characterization that she was able to put up with Flynn’s brand of crazy for what was probably a long-term, serious relationship (judging by the fact Flynn is so not over it). To be a fly on the wall when she gives Jordan the “break his heart, I kick your butt” speech or that “oh crap” moment on Flynn’s face when he catches Lora and Jordan having a little “girl talk” and his name comes up.
It’s also telling that she married the guy who seemed to be the complete inverse - emphasis on ‘seemed.’ We all know now that Alan can really start trouble, but only if properly motivated. Lora has to drag his butt in there kicking and screaming, partly because Alan is not keen on helping criminal activity and mostly because he’s still horribly insecure, thinking that he has competition from a flashy flamboyant bad boy who is every exciting thing he’s not. (No worries, Alan. She’s heard the charms. That’s why she’s with you and not him.)
But like her Program “daughter,” she’s the one who pulls off the diplomacy and the planning to get the job done. Alan has the weapon, Flynn’s got the distraction, and she’s got the scheme.
