okay anyway i recovered I THINK SHED BE SO DISTRESSED bc like shes supposed to be working shes clearly locked the fuck in on this job like what the fuck was she thinking. well she wasn't tbc she literally passed the fuck out face down in her work because it was three am but she was wearing a cozy sweater and hester was at the seat next to her and the basement is kinda cramped so she can just feel her warm safe presence over there and the only other person is charlie and he's reading and the sound of him turning pages every few seconds is so soothing and its just white noise in her brain and she feels so cozy and just SAFE and before she knows it she's asleep head down on the desk or curled up in a chair and like tf is anyone else going to do its three in the goddamn morning so hester just drapes her own sweater over her :(((((
