Libérée, Délivrée
Practically everyone has heard the song “Let is Go” from Disney’s Frozen I got the idea this evening to exercise my French and translate the French version of the song, Libérée, Délivrée, into English.
I didn't haphazardly choose a Disney song to translate. Liberty is a theme for me this year, deliverance from things I don’t wish to speak of, and this song sums up a lot of my feelings.
FYI, this isn’t a literal translation.The words in bold are the French lyrics, with the translation of each line underneath.
