Obviously I like my friend, but it really pisses me off that she constantly puts me down for the course I'm doing.
I'm aiming for an MEng in Games Development at university and she's doing a BTEC in Games Design at Tech.
It sounds like a great course, and I'm not definitely not saying anything against it, but when she does this, I'm like...
I say I'm "aiming for an MEng in Games Development" because the way this system works is that everyone starts doing Computer Science and after the first year, you specialise in an area. It's really certain that I'm transferring into Games next year...
I met Claudia Christian and Patricia Tallman in Febrauary :3 The scanner cropped the above photo awkwardly, but who cares?! It's awesome =D
Patricia Tallman was a bit more stingey. The autographed photo above and this bit of card cost the same =\ I've never even seen Dead Air. I know them both from Babylon 5.
It doesn't matter, though - they were both absolutely lovely. Granted, they were also bored - Belfast's kind of a hole - but I'm glad I got to meet them. Babylon 5 is one of my favourite TV series of all time and it was a great experience to meet the two of them.
Also, I cosplayed as GLaDOS, but I have no good photos of that =\ I got loads of pictures taken of me, though, so they should be online somewhere =D
I have an assignment to do.
But I want to watch the Yogscast...
Or play Assassin's Creed II. Or finally finish FFXIII, so I can finally move on FFXIII-2
But mostly watch the Yogscast.
It’s blood. NYC artist, Jordan Eagles, works solely with gallons upon gallons of blood obtained from a slaughterhouse. By manipulating the blood through heating, burning, aging, mixing with copper, adding foreign materials, and then encasing it in plexiglass and UV resin, Jordan is able to capture an array of organic designs. His large pieces are uncomfortably beautiful, especially when lit, the blood seems to glow against the clean white walls of a gallery.

The last thing I bought was Assassin's Creed II.
I love these games so much.
(image from here)
I also bought a Portal t-shirt off Play.com (click image for linky =])
(Yes, I wear men's shirts. Sh.)
This is the image on my black V for Vendetta shirt. I would have linked the actual t shirt, but I can't find it now =\ Also bought from Play.com
(Apologies for the weird watermark. Only image I could find, oddly. This t shirt was all over the place at the time I bought it...)
I would so also buy this t-shirt, but I need to stop buying stuff. INTERNET, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME?!
Another thing I've spent too much money on was a Pay as You Go iPhone 4S for my mother's 50th birthday. You know how much apple robs you for one of those.
It was so worth it, though. You should see how much fun she has using it.
It's been 2 months and I've spent too much money again.
I bought the V for Vendetta graphic novel for 15 euro while I was off to Germany for a few days.
As well as the most epic V for Vendetta t-shirt.
God, I'm obsessed.
Did you know there's apparently only one place in Belfast to buy DVDs?
I am outraged (LOL) - I didn't know Head had closed... or that shop that sold old DVDs that had been used as rentals. So basically, now if HMV doesn't have something TOUGH THAT'S IT YOU CAN'T GET IT AHAHAHAHA
Ah, but you can buy it online, I hear you say! But what about people without online-buying capabilities? Like old people and young people with strict/paranoid parents?! ...Or people for whom the internet is filled with shopping temptations that will make your money disappear in a magic, purple puff of magic purple smoke??!! D'x
Ok, so I braved the internet and ordered V for Vendetta online after all. And it was £2.99. But so was Scott Pilgrim O___o And now I spent £4.98.
I'm going to check the post office in about an hour to see if they arrived :3
So excited <3
I ordered my friend's birthday present last night. It's going to be excellent. :3
Uhhhh ACTUALLY, Anonymous took the Guy Fawkes mask from V for Vendetta’s comic book, not the other way around. Just so you know.
Yeah, I got that =] What I meant is that the mask and most other recognisable images are the same in both the film and the graphic novels, or is at least associated with both. But thanks for pointing it out =]
I finally watched V for Vendetta. I actually love this film and I can't believe I haven't seen it before.
It's also oddly relevant with the whole SOPA (or whatever it is now) thing going on too.
However, I don't like that the mask is so closely associated to Anonymous and real life protests. I'm not saying that I do or don't believe in certain causes, but I don't want those connotations lumped on me, simply because I'm a fan of the film, the story, the concept - whatever. I really like showing I'm a fan of something, online or in real life but the image suddenly gains a very political nature, and I sure as hell would rather stay out of that. I have my opinions but I don't want to be associated with any group or organisation of any kind because I don't want my opinions to be misrepresented. In that respect, I'd much rather be on my own.
Having said that, I am so going down to HMV tomorrow to get the DVD <3
Natalie Portman's voice is as annoying as ever, though.
THIS IS ME.
