I'm supposed to be traveling through West Virginia this June, and my path is going to take me near Kepler. Is there anything to do in the summertime, or is it all just skiing and trees?

There’s plenty to do during Kepler’s Summers! The you can explore the beautiful Monongahela forest, check out the views from Mt. Kepler, have some wet fun at one of our many water parks(Kepler is the Water Park capitol of the US!), or get spooky at the Cryptonomica. Kepler is a great place to be year round!

I think this is a wonderful way to reach out to potential visitors and promote local attractions! To the person running this, what's your favorite thing in/about Kepler?

There’s so much to do! I can’t speak for everyone in the department, but I love to hit the slopes in Mt. Kepler in the winter, splash around at all the water parks in the summer, and tune into the Cryptonomica’s Saturday Night Dead year round!

I’ve heard a rumour that Kepler has some of the best french onion soup around, is this rumour correct? I’m a bit of a foodie and would love to make a trip out to Kepler to try the soup and see the gorgeous town!

The rumors are true. If you stop in town be sure to go to the Mt. Kepler Ski Lodge and try their internationally renowned French onion soup!

Hi, what's the attitude to LGBT+ people in Keppler? You can't be too careful with all the hate going round

Kepler is a very welcoming place! We love to meet new people and are very welcoming to outsiders, and we have a couple prominent community members who fall under that umbrella as well!

oh i LOVE the cecropia silk moth! i knew they were native to the usa but didnt know they could be found in west virginia specifically! what are some other rare moth species found nearby if you get a chance to ask, any other large silk moths? saturniidae are one of my favorite species of moth, but if theres any geometridae those are super cool too!

While West Virginia has a very diverse moth community the only other silk moth we have is the tulip-tree silk moth which is also quite large!

We understand many of you saw the disturbing message broadcasted by Ned Chicane early today. We have no idea what the truth of the situation is, likely this is just some viral marketing gone wrong, but we must advise everyone to stay home as the official investigation about what was said takes place, and ask that no-one goes to the forest based on Mr. Chicane’s broadcast. This is for the safety of everyone in the city.

Sorry I’ve been inactive as of late, end of school year/finals ended up with me busy and not having time to catch up on TAZ/answer asks. I’m driving from Florida(parents home) to Ohio(college/summer job) next week so if I don’t have time before then I’ll def have time to queue some stuff up on the drive.
