Meet Blep! The most unlucky character I have ever played in any game. His random, unavoidable deaths and near death experiences have been absolutely wild - and they have reached the point of hilarity.
Upon birth, babies are screened and given a random ability based on what their parents had. Your dad had telepathy and your mom could sing any song perfectly, even mimicking the voice. You were given the seemingly useless ability of playing songs into someone else’s head.
Time to annoy everyone with some screaming death metal until they succumb to my demands. Muahaha.
The hand strain has been battled, and bumbleby is now complete- and completely adorable.
My hand hurts too much to finish this one on my preferred schedule, so a wild shiny second W.I.P. has appeared!
Besides, the flat colours make a really nice standalone here because the characters have such a unique silhouette.
Now if only my rwby fanart looked more like this. Maybe I’ll try it again this weekend.
The husband told me I should draw Ruby Rose from RWBY. I still haven’t found a drawing style I like for more stylized stuff. Oh well. I guess Jedicat is one step closer to getting white rose fanart out of me.
A gift for my g-ma in law’s birthday. I hope she’ll like it - she’s newfie and definitely a bit home sick some days.
I was going to do a colour test for my next attempt at a landscape. Then I went overboard. woops!
And once more plant lady Linalla gets some love. This time with a rendered headshot instead of sketches and D&D doodles. I’m thinking next project I should take a break from headshots and try some more complex poses. Maybe some dancers.
I did a colour study using a photo by Joanna Kustra as reference. Unfortunately the photo is from 2013 (I think) and I’m having a very hard time tracking down a link to it on her social media. But, she’s a pretty famous photographer, so googling her name should pull up some of her work!
Did I mention I absolutely adore Jenna Coleman? I adored her in doctor who and victoria, and was pleasantly surprised to find out she’s in The Serpent when I clicked on it to watch! Hopefully my stylization doesn’t make her look too unrecognizable.
So I drew a really cool plant lady during the last d&d session, and I’m kind of in love with her.
My drow rogue backup dnd character - because my pixie is reckless and may eventually get herself killed.
Practicing drawing people from different angles.
Thank you to tgifriday13th on DA for the reference sheet.
So i drew my gaia avi this time.
Dragon lady, now in colour! Next up, expression sheet
