Travel diary

I was traveling in a bus and then there was an old man standing to my right I was about to offer my seat to him but then he asked me to adjust him for a while So I agreed But then he was about to get up after conductor came and gave him the ticket So I insisted him to sit as it was a journey of 2 hours But the main question that came into my mind was that it was written that there is reservation for old citizen and women so why they weren’t given any seat I mean why only I was going to stand up for the old man And why others weren’t realising this Does people become this selfish I’ve always seen that whenever a child is standing the old people let them sit in their lap or on seat but why when these little kids grow up don’t offer seats to the one who needed This make me so upset .
