So just to get it out of the way this is my version of a “dni”:

we absolutely will not attempt proving ourselves to anyone its just not anyones business. we have zero interest or tolerance for discourse being brought up on here, take that shit somewhere else. if we wanna block u we will for whatever reason, might just be “bad vibes” dont take it too personally.

we have a lot of other issues besides DID that we may talk about but for the most part this is page where we post things we want to share and sometimes a vent and trauma dump page, if were dissociated we will just tag with hollow instead of a specific name,, this is somewhere to put things i cant talk to people irl about. if we are talking about something feel free to trauma dump or vent yourself in the comments or just add your input, either for conversation or just to let it out. we only ask that you dont use a bunch of slurs or be rude for no reason.

im ftm irl and living on our own for the first time at 21

i needed to learn how to use a powerdrill that kinda came with not much instruction because i wasnt willing to just throw away some furniture with incorrect ai instructions because it was pretty nice quality at $200

so anyways my dad taught me to use a power-drill over the phone

and a few weeks ago when my parents were driving up some of my stuff since my dad has a big truck he gave me better tips on how to shave because we both have acne

anyways both of my parents used to scream at me and make me go to “therapy” for being trans and an abomination type shi, just wanted to put the out there not to brag or say it will be everyones experience but just to say that it can get better wether its your birth parents, adopted, a different family member or even found family

one day you will have people around who are patient and kind and dont give a shit how you were born they just support who you are and are trying to be and love you through lifes journey

i really hope that everyone has that in life one day and it is possible even if it feels like you’ll never make it to tomorrow because that used to be me and now im here, and it can get better and more joyous ❤️🌙🗡️

want to clarify my stance on endos really quick.

i genuinely don’t know if endogenic systems are a thing. if i had to guess, i would say they aren’t, because it doesn’t make any sense to me, but i am not a neurologist. i can’t say that they don’t exist with complete certainty just because it goes against the papers i’ve read. i can only say that i don’t *think* they exist. i hope that makes sense.

i don’t care if endos are online and talking about it. i do care that being endo is being related to being a system at all. if endos would rebrand as something entirely different from systems, keep to their own part of the internet, that would be fine with me. the only issue i have about how current endos are online is that they are using the same language as people with CDDs, and haven’t rebranded from the movement they come from. if endos exist, it is entirely different from a CDD and frankly shouldn’t have anything to do with me.

i don’t want endos to interact on my posts, because my posts are about the CDD experience. they are entirely seperate things.

i’m not the internet police, i think endos can do whatever they want as long as they don’t do it in our spaces. the reason i am so adamant about that is because it makes people learning about CDD’s confused about what is endo stuff, and what is CDD stuff. it promotes misinformation. there’s already so much misinformation about this disorder, and a second wave of that would hurt a lot of people.

Not every pwOSDDID grew up with inexplicable voices in their head or imaginary friends pre-system discovery. It happens to a lot but sometimes someone can be completely left in the dark up until they're presented with the idea of being a system. It's a covert disorder sometimes alters are going to be hidden until it's safe for them to not be and sometimes that means you don't know each other until post system realization
