hi.
Who would have thought the emo kids in high school would grow up to be emotionally unstable adults??
having an fp is like the line between hellfire and heaven.
the hardest thing. the hardest. is pushing away someone you love and keeping them at a distance so you dont become obsessed with them because you know once you do they’ll leave or be freaked out. and you know you wont be able to handle that.
so you push them away and make yourself leave to protect yourself, only to hurt them the most, and in doing that they become distant, and you find yourself becoming obsessed with them just as you feared,
and now they’re distant from you to protect themselves and you’re trying to think of why you’re so stupid for doing this in the first place.
normal person: *has a bad day, maybe a bad week, every once in a while* whatever I’m gonna bounce back!
me: *realizes I spent the past 2 months idealizing relationships and becoming emotionally invested in people who were probably just using me* me: Yikes™!!! me: *dissociates for the next year to numb the pain*
when you see your fp talking to someone else:
People “saw what the governor and state legislature were trying to do, and it made people realize the importance of the funds,” one organizer said of the assault on reproductive rights.
Wow look at these brave pro-aborts using eugenics to pretend that they care about people!! <3333
In all seriousness, check out @prolife-feminist if you want to find amazing pro-life groups to support.
If by “crush abortion access” they actually mean “abortion was not an essential service, therefore pro lifers shut it down, especially since abortion clinics are notorious for having terrible sanitation, so bad that multiple abortion clinic workers have died of covid, and now the clinics are hoarding vaccines and vaccinating people who don’t even come in contact with patients” then yes pro lifers did do that
“We need abortion bc it’s better than having all these disabled kids in foster care!!!” Lets see what disabled people and kids in foster care have to say about that.
It’s not about how those who have had those things happen shouldn’t be alive, it’s about the fact women shouldn’t be forced to have a child they don’t want. We shouldn’t say “yes let’s have this baby I can’t take of because others want me to” and then have that child be taken into the system.
We should allow women to make the choice that they don’t want a child, and that having children knowing they will end up in system are not okay.
Being a child of rape, in the system, or growing up unsupported financially is trauma. Just because your fine doesn’t mean others are. My life would have been so much better if my mom made the choice to not have me, because then we would have had one less traumatized person in the world.
But no, everyone cares more about not giving people the choice then to care about the actions of it.
I will never be okay. I am not okay. I am the other side of this. A child of someone who didn’t have an abortion, who made the choice to have me when they shouldn’t have. And because Of that, I have been abused, hurt, forgotten, homeless, traumatized, sexual assaulted and wishing I was dead everyday.
Women should get abortions if they want one, because then less people will feel the way I do every fucking day.
Just because you don’t wanna be alive doesn’t mean everyone else does. I’m sorry but your trauma does not mean you can make that choice for someone else and advocate for the deaths of others. You really read this entire post of people BEGGING for the right to live and you don’t care? Newsflash- we can reduce trauma, poverty, and abuse without killing people. Resorting to people is a form of giving up. It’s like saying “I can’t/won’t try to make your life better, so I’ll kill you instead.” That’s just unfair and cruel to people who were glad they’re alive. Not to mention studies show that most abused kids were wanted, meaning abortion literally would not even help the abuse problem we have. Wishing you weren’t born is a form of suicidal ideation and I really hope you recover.
^^ this reply is so important because it totally debunks the obsession of pro abortioners to appropriate the struggle of disabled people to justify the murder of unborn child. Just by browsing through the notes of this post we can see how uncomfortable they are with people born from rape, disabled, raised in poverty, etc.. being grateful of being born and enjoying life despite their struggle. They pull out a self centered "b-but I wish I wasn't born" narrative. The thing is that YOU cannot decide over someone whether they want to live or not - this is not about YOU.
Pro abortioners pretend to be pro choice but don't leave any for the countless of children they wipe out of existence without asking for their consent. Did they choose to die?
First off, as a person who is no stranger to abuse in multiple forms, I know the dark place your mind goes to when you are suicidal. I know how it corrupts your entire worldview and how self pity creeps in and creates a resistance to any word of advice, any outstretched caring hand. It makes it hard for you to care about others. You’re too busy caring for yourself to make up for the care you missed out on at the hands of people who should have loved you but either didn’t or didn’t do it right. You’re drowning in the identity you’ve been conditioned into defining yourself by. You’re sad. You’re tired. You’re angry. You’re alone. Or maybe sometimes you feel like a complete alien. Or maybe you don’t feel anything. Nobody could possibly understand and nobody feels what you feel. And nobody can lift the weight off you no matter how hard they seem to try. And it’s weird because you seem to be more annoyed by their efforts instead of appreciative. You feel gross for feeling that way, but it doesn’t stop you from feeling that way. The world seems awful, and while much of it is, there’s plenty of beauty, and love and hope out there that you just literally won’t let yourself see. And it all just festers.
I’ve been to some dark places. But I’m not there now. I know my story just went from point A to point Z but I don’t need to go into the specifics of my situation to illustrate that if hope exists, which it does, it is wrong for you to deny that to someone simply because it wasn’t given to you. Sounds harsh, but that’s what’s fair.
If I’m going to project any part of my scenario onto anybody else, it’s the part where hope exists. The part where things change. Not all the other stuff.
My experiences shouldn’t condemn another to death. It literally doesn’t make sense.
By the way I’ve had an abortion as well. It wasn’t this healing, noble, selfless experience. There was a lot of emotional damage done to me and my partner at the time. It was selfishly motivated despite my circumstances, which I tried to convince myself should absolve me of the guilt that followed. And by the way Planned Parenthood effed up on their initial ultrasound which affected the way the procedure went for me and my experience was very bad. You know what feels worse than wishing you were dead/never having been born?? Sitting in a room full of people recovering from their abortion feeling like you’re in some kind of abortion assembly line in the silent realization that you ended the life of a whole other human you created with someone you loved because you’re selfish and you know it. That’s a whole feeling I can’t even begin to explain.

I won’t glorify or romanticize heartbreak. For me, it was a kind of death and I was forced to keep living.
